Gavan
Shame the match was ruined when Polis withdrew as 7 points from him would have seen Edinburgh win but Poole got lucky and that’s speedway

Exactly what are you expecting? If it's 12 points a meeting, that not going to happen imo. He did mess up 2 rides but other 2 were ok I thought. I can't believe Edinburgh's luck though, every time they on a 5-1 and something happened to prevent it. We got very lucky tonight.
Steve Shovlar
We are very lucky to come away with the points tonight. Edinburgh were on a 5-1 in two heats when one of their guys had an ef. Really they should have won but luck shined down on us. If we ride like that tomorrow at Berwick we will get spanked. We were outgated for the first half of the meeting. Seems the whole team is infected with “clutch hand”. The loss of Polis was covered by Grahn, who is crap and likely to be junked, and Palovaara, who scored 19 points. A gem at reserve with 7 rides. For Poole Lawson was good, Tobias exceptional, Rowe good, Cook very poor, Kerr poor, Starke did a job, and Richings a vast improvement on Marson scoring an important 2. Kerr just doesn’t look like our second heat leader. Castagna was miles behind but passed Starke, not difficult, then was about 40 metres behind Kerr but still caught him on the line. Diabolical riding. He really needs to get his act together. I really want him to and don’t dislike the guy but he seems to lack and spark at all at the moment. Tomorrow at Berwick we know if you don’t gate you are stuffed and we could be well adrift. Kerr needs to step up for us to have any chance. But you call him worse than you know what in every post, maybe try backing him for a change instead of wanting him binned off after every meeting. Maybe he is performing under par but considering the season he had last year with constant injuries I wouldn’t have expected him to come out flying and I think your expectations are probably too high for him these days a good night for him is double figures but 7-8 will probably be the norm once he gets up to speed, Rowe will be your second HL by seasons end with Kerr and Cook behind would be my prediction.
JanAndersen
The definition of a one man team currently. None of them with the exception of Victor look fast enough. Paco needs to engage his brain more - coming off in ht14 when on a 4-2 was just really poor riding. Kye is miles off it and struggling to beat reserves. Grahn hasn’t shown anything yet although if he drops to reserve that might change. Justin is useless unless he makes the start. I’m worried that Polis just might not fancy it - grippy technical tracks isn’t what he’ll relish. We can point to misfortune tonight certainly but there was more to it than that. I don’t think enough of them are that bothered.
spt82
Does anyone know the answer to this question. If that meeting had gone to a super heat tonight would Edinburgh have been able to use Palovaara in it as technically a super heats not a programmed ride? Not sure this would've come up before and I know it didn't so doesn't really matter but would be interesting to know.

Yes Palovaara could've ridden for an 8th time had there been a "stupid heat" Edited 17 hours ago by szkocjasid

The loss of Polis saw his 2 rides score 3 points … if he had ridden may have scored more …. But also if he had ridden then Palovaara could have been used to replace Grahn

I dont expect 12 points a meeting but he is meant to be a heat leader so should expect 8 minimum Edited 16 hours ago by foreverblue

Kerr was on Richard Lawson’s bike for his third ride. Kinda suggests bike issues.
