mikebv Posted yesterday at 08:18 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:18 PM Kurtz and Bewley....... PC and Mort couldn't have done it any better... And that is the highest praise I can give them having watched those two in Ht13 in those days winning many a 5-1....

Gavan Posted yesterday at 08:22 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:22 PM Belle vue with Kurtz and Bewley almost unbeatable at home and having Blodorn and Lidsey who go well at home as well means they don’t have to worry about the reserves being poor
40-38 Posted yesterday at 08:43 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:43 PM Interesting to see that if you complain that the Lions lack teeth on social media the club reps are on you like a ton of bricks. Especially the fans voice, as long as the voice it isn't dissenting of course.
IainB Posted yesterday at 08:53 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:53 PM (edited) Some decent stuff on track tonight, result was never in doubt though... the big 3 all won tonight more or less taking them out of sight. Edited yesterday at 08:54 PM by IainB

The Birmingham riders will earn a good few quid guesting for Leicester, Oxford and KL I would think, as I am not sure they would want a rider from a potential play off rival to help them out.....

Col
Decent watch on TV but fell short of the heights of last week! The highlight was Lidsey & Cook going either side of Masters.

arnieg
Long breaks, inevitable result. Complete lack of atmosphere [there's only so much Hayley and Chase the Ace can do]. Â But at least we had some class action on track
Rob B
Anyone seen the TNT Sports  social media posts. Heat 1 they say Fricke beat Kurtz (he didn’t) They put video of good heat 9 with title of Kirke and Lindsey (Cook & Lidsey)
GeneralMelchett
Some really enjoyable heats last night - the pick for me was actually Kyle Howart keeping Kurtz in 4th in heat 10 a really good intelligent ride. Credit Leicester they gave it a go in the end as expected BV just too strong at home.
Dickie Head
Why park the presenters podium and line marking equipment ahead of the starting pole cushion on the inside? A rider would clatter that lot without protection before reaching the cushion if worst came to worst. Wouldn’t it be better to go behind the pole on the first bend side? In that ride I think Kurtz must have been testing a setup as he rode round the kerb for all 4 laps, he never does that so think he was testing a setup for riding inside.
Rob B
Also Kurtz blew his main BV engine before the meeting. Cook & Zischke were on new engines.

Kurtz simply couldn't get outside for the first two laps due to having two Lions between him and the fence... He then decided that he was never going to get out there in time to build up enough momentum to pass them in the two laps left, so stayed inside, running closer to the kerb to find that extra bit of grip the NSS has down there.. Nearly worked too...
