Match this week is on TNT Sports 2 at 7.30pm.

The Stars will need to improve their  away league form to get something here. Eyes on Bomber, NKI, and Kvech.

I know some don't like stats, but ... We haven't got going away from home.

NKI hasn't won a race in 18 rides. Away average so far 5.33

, Kvech has run 9 lasts in 21 rides    ...........................    4.76

Bomber has 1 win and 6 lasts in 21 rides....................     4.21

If my maths are correct. As a team, our riders have rode 120 times in 4 meetings ( 15 heats x2 riders ), with 14 ht wins, and 32 lasts, between the 7 riders.

Probably to late now, but another must win.

Some top stats. Those are the kinds of things football commentators will use to fill silences and provide build up.

Speedway fans will just get that Bomber is the one to watch because of his British final exploits, Kvech the GP rider and the emerging talent that is the sensation Boughen *and repeat*.

Must add that I'm referring to the TNT coverage

Our away team average from the 6 riders we have is an impressive:

27.61

Good luck on Monday Stars fans 🤣😬

Rob Lyon said on the British Speedway podcast, that the trouble with his teams make up is that it's difficult to cover for R/R... I would have thought that having a team full of 6 and 7 pointers, it's the ideal team make up to cover for R/R as you've not got 1 or 2 big guns and then nothing after that. The reason they lost against Sheffield was partly due to a poor performance from your number 1 and a freak score from Lewis Kerr.

Agree. Ben had a 3.20 average from his 4 meetings. I know he should be a 6 pointer, but we are full of them..You only have to look at our away form,

Apart from Lawson, it's crap..

Depends where r/r is in the team.

Ben Cook is currently 5th, so one above (kvech) and klindt/boughen for the other 3. If klindt has 3 extra rides that's his 7 rides done and (a poorly performing) boughen has to take his full 4 rides.

That was why rob gave klindt his 7th ride early against Sheffield and left boughens last one til heat 14...where he knew there could be a chance of being able to use a tactical in that race instead.

If Ben was 4th or higher in averages it wouldn't be so bad..

Away from home, we are really bad. Have a look

As everyone kniws, pretty much all riders get their overall average based on a home average being higher than their away average...

Meaning therefore that "6 point riders" will, for most, deliver around a seven and a five...

No surprise when they perform poorly away then is there?
