In your opinion as a keyboard warrior! I was there and I enjoyed watching the live meeting.

To be fair I enjoyed it on Tv also - sadly it did look sparsely attended. There was some passing and the scoreline was always close so it kept the interest going.

The downside of just racing for Workington is going weeks without matches.

Yes thats true but is it worse than having your confidence totally destroyed? A difficult one

Dan touch the tapes and was rightfully excluded.

There use to be a thing where rivals or certain riders would intentionally jump as they knew they were in the eye-line of their competitor and it could make them jump into the tapes. It’s lost its regularity as riders today are mostly good mates being teammates at one of their other teams. I’ve seen it creep back into the sport recently and just wondered if others had noticed. Jaimon and Mark have mentioned it recently.

No rule change is required. It’s personal choice if riders want to do it.

So we are all tarred with the same brush?

You seem like one of the decent ones to be fair …. Only 2 of your fans on here are a bit strange

I put a comment on that I was surprised Birmingham won as the loss of their number one was a bigger loss than no Kurtz

I said that I thought 2 poor rides from Lidsey at the end cost the team …. Then I got barrage of abuse that somehow got round to slagging off Ellis performance at Kings Lynn and Ipswich not winning the league since 1998…. Very strange

Well done Brummies thought it was a decent meeting. I thought Zagar was excellent and Jason Edwards carrying his Redcar form on too.

Not sure where the blame falls between the rider/club both Belle Vue and Brady Kurtz market themselves as professional and last night they both went down in my estimation. Maybe I should taper my expectations but telling supporters an hour before really isn't good enough.

Thanks, I cant disagree with that fair comments, ive had comments from a few calling me a hater when ive said i dont think we can win the league being so weak at reserve, i just think its being realistic, best to ignore those comments.

Fair play to the Brummies , not sure Lemo could believe that result.

Conditions not great but both sides had to ride the track. Great effort by Zagar - welcome to the party.

I was told that Musielak prefers the track to be dry and slick. Which perhaps is why he always comes last in heat 1! Then wakes up later on.

If that's true, seems a strange decision to give him the r/r outing in heat 1?

While riders shouldn't dictate to managers when they'll go out, if he'll be stronger in the second half of the meeting, use him more then?

To be fair, it came over very poorly on the TV, although it's not helped by Tatum's inane waffling, and it really did just drag on, and on, and on ...

The thing is some fans can’t separate their own bias towards the sport, I doubt anyone catching that on tv without much knowledge of speedway would be impressed let alone searching for their nearest track.

Newcomers don’t want to go somewhere where they are likely to get covered in dust and the racing is all the riders riding the inside following each other.

As for Tobys comments about wanting it dry and slick, I find that very shortsighted, the riders might like it like that but that sort of racing doesn’t draw crowds, how are they going to continue being paid to race when fewer and fewer are going to watch?
