Looking at the weather forecast can't see this meeting going ahead, rain all day until 7pm. That would be a shame as we might have a full team for the rearranged date and Kvech might not be at reserve!

Probably best to call it off now tbh save the aggro of travelling plans for everyone involved 😁

Hawkins said Janowski was asked to guest but turned it down. Begs the question, why ask him in the first place? He scored 4 from 6 rides at Foxhall a few weeks ago and looked genuinely awful. Emil, Brennan, Ellis and King taking rider replacement rides was always the better and right choice surely?

Let’s be honest no one is going to replace Thompson, if Hume beats his opposing number he has done his job.

At the moment R/R for Doyle & having a weaker number 6 isn’t working. It’s a shame Nicholls is still sidelined as he would be a shoe in for Doyle at home.

We really need Brennan to hit double figures & Ellis to have his gating gloves on.

I believe we can sneak past Lynn overall but it’s going to be tight. Kevach seems to love Foxhall & conditions will also be much more to Harris’ liking than on bank holiday Monday. The only good thing is that if they are more to suited to Harris it will make Klint less effective.

in truth we could do with the rain winning on Thursday.

Could actually see us getting knocked out of the cup by Lynn.

What Odds would you have had on Lynn vs Leicester final !

If we don't sort Dan's position out soon we could lose most of our up and coming meetings.

The Cup would be a bummer but I’m not sure losing a few meetings in the league would be a bad thing. Fourth position will do fine, with averages being kept as low as possible, particularly Dan’s with next year in mind. The way he was riding he might have ridden himself out of a job for next year! The target has to be get everyone fit and firing in September. IF we can do that, I don’t see another team that would beat us over two legs.

I agree that the cup isn’t the end of the world but I don’t particularly want to finish 4th and have the cup title won away from home. You want to finish top so you get home advantage second leg and lift the trophy in from of your fans surely?

RR for Doyle and having a weaker number 6 is working? Did you notice we lost against Leicester and against kings Lynn with that format?

KL will go through now imo due to Kvech cleaning up from 7 rides at reserve and you just know that Klindt is good for a Heat win or two around Foxhall.

I really don't get the obsession with Danyon Hume, He's a lovely lad and he gives it 100% but he doesn't score the points needed.

It seems once a rider gets his foot in the Prem door, he's on the mind of many teams. Hume picked by Sheffield, guested then signed by Birmingham, guested for Ipswich. Compare that to Connor Mountain, who has a higher Champ ave, but seemingly gets completely ignored by Prem sides!

Forecast hasn’t improved. If anything it’s gotten a little worse. Met office has continuous rain from 8 in the morning until 5pm, BBC which tbf is the least reliable I find, has rain from 8am until 2am Friday morning.

Forecast changes daily though so let’s see what the more accurate forecast will be tomorrow morning.

Still no news on the Rising Star for Lynn.

And Mountain goes well at Foxhall, well he used to. Not sure he has ridden there lately.

Barker is a better rider but he isn't a gater so not sure he is suited by the Ipswich track, MPT hasn't ridden there yet this season so not sure he can guest. Allen would be better but Batch is unreliable, ask Workington!! Ipswich always seem to go for Danyon, he is a nice guy and no doubt easy to deal with.

He doesn’t. You must have him confused with someone else. He was released by us a few years ago because in Louis’ own words, he just couldn’t get the hang of Foxhall and was so poor at home.

The forecast may be bad

It may rain

The pit gate may need repair

A hose could 'accidentally' be left on

In speedway there's always a way if you need it.....;)

Just got to hope the weather wins this one as I can't see an Ipswich win.

R/R hasn't produced the right results so far and Danyon, try as hard as he can, is unlikely to trouble 6 out of the 7 Stars.

Then you have to wonder what we'll get as a track, after the recent Blue Groove tracks!
