If Belle Vue fans aren’t bothered and are happy for him to miss the meeting then everyone else’s opinion doesn’t really matter I suppose. For me, it is his decision and if he isn’t ready or fit then it is what it is, but if he isn’t 100% then he should miss the SGP as well, it’s the same feeling I had for our rider in Doyley, shouldn’t have rode x2 SGPs. Priority should be full fitness, that was the reason for my first post about this. Until you’re 100% you shouldn’t ride British, Polish or SGP. If Wroclaw aren’t pushing him to be back for there meeting then we know for sure he isn’t 100% and SGP is something that could push his progress further back, however if he rides for Wroclaw then he has chosen to miss Belle Vue. That’s IMO.

I get what you’re saying. But don’t forget if they don’t ride they don’t earn money. 3 points in Poland is worth 15 in England. Jason got injured last year and has his Polish contract ripped up and had legal battles as they wanted the upfront money paid back.
Poland is a different proposition altogether than here. Tv money and sponsors are massive , they have to look after that and keep fans attending, hence the reason they pay well and unfortunately what they say goes.
To any rider wether we like it or not they will always try to accommodate Poland and if they are a GP rider protect their standing.
Like you say it’s on its arse here. I agree with MikeBV the bspa missed a massive trick after covid. But make no mistake just like the riders the bspa only look out for their interests.

With further teams demise in the Winter there is every likelyhood of fewer teams having a SGP rider.

Remains to be seen how things are structured for league racing next season. Think British speedway is at that point now with so few teams still running.

Probably won’t be a league to ride in so at least Brady will be able to catch Eastenders on a Thursday night.

Got a couple of years left in it yet.

Someone will move up to replace Birmingham, Probably Godfrey's Scunny.

Doyle not fit to ride for Ipswich on Thursday, fit to ride 24 hours later, NO DIFFERENCE.

In case you missed it, Kurtz crashed again and has different injury now.

But his name isn't Doyle so he not allowed to be injured.

Hang on you are so wrong lol

Doyle injured for a while decided his first meeting back will be the GP

Rides on GP tris to ride for his club and can’t

Kurtz pulls out after finishing the meeting he got hurt in …. Doesn’t ride for Belle Vue but I bet he rides in the GP

You do realise Doyle missed a GP while injured?

2 totally different scenarios

Does anyone have a list of the league meetings Brady completed abroad whilst choosing to miss meetings in the UK?

Links would be good.

From the first time he got injured he then only returned to race in Manchester missing Belle Vue and Wroclaw from what I believe. Unless he rides tomorrow for Wroclaw then id consider tonight a ‘chosen meeting’ to miss.

Birmingham have put in 2 great performances at BP this season!

So did we when it actually mattered in last years final, regular league matches are now meaningless as the play off contenders were known before a wheel was turned. Reason why meetings are woefully attended, give the qualifiers a miss and come out when the meaningful meetings happen in the play offs.

I’d give up explaining to this guy. I don’t think he understands it. If you talk to the wall in your room you’re currently in then you’ll get a better response.

Foxhall isn’t ‘woefully’ attended though is it. We have a good solid backing each meeting at home who enjoy watching speedway. Not just interested in ‘play offs meetings’, if that’s your only reasoning to go and watch speedway just to win a trophy then I’d give up with Belle Vue this season 😉 I thought Belle Vue is woefully attended because you had x2 SGPs and everyone spent all their money on that event and now only cherry pick their meetings? That’s a solid and dedicated fan base to build a club from :D

Why not wait and see what happens tomorrow before slagging the fella off like you've done throughout tonight.

Tbh, as an Aces fan I'm happy for him to do what he thinks is right for his own body, also for his own personal quest for the World Championship.  He owes Belle Vue nothing, having delivered on plenty of occasions when it really mattered and he was physically able to do so.

You worry about your own team and leave us to our own, all sorted.
