Lions v Aces

It's amazing all these so called Aces supporters caring for the prospects of an individual rider who doesn't have the club at heart rather than their actual club. When there's no speedway clubs left to follow in this country will they be traveling to all the SGP's and Polish League matches to follow their hero who can do no wrong?

:D

There will always be team Speedway in the UK...

They might need to make up teams on an adhoc basis...

Borrowing riders from each other on any given night to cobble teams together...

Hoping fans can collude with the promoters that what they are watching has some resonance, value or kudos...

Oh, Hang On, just realised...

That is the current operating model....:D

As you were, its working well....:D

"Give us yer 20 odd quid, and shut up"....;)

That's because Brady Kurtz keeps producing his sick note every time he breaks a finger nail 💅😁

I think you should change your user name to 🤔 mikebk 😁😂

BK winning a World Championship would get him a few hundred thousand extra in signing on fees, and major sponsorship in Poland...

He might even get a nice watch manufacture sponsoring him...B)

Leading the Aces to the title, and being rider of the year, over here, (like he did last year)...

Wouldn't get him a free fish supper every week from "Bob and Elsie's Chip Shop" in Gorton..:D

That's all very well and good and I really hope he does it and gets as many watches as he can fit on his weak dainty little wrist... not at the expense of British Speedway though. If he doesn't want to ride over here, he shouldn't have signed a contract... This behaviour is part of the reason you don't attend the "qualifiers" isn't it?

And what rumours would they be?

I don't know about any rumours. But Peter Oakes wrote in speedway star about 2 weeks ago that along with Birmingham not running next year, one other Premiership team is planning on going back to the championship next year. Also on 360 Speedway the panel said the same thing but didn't mention the club.

I sense a certain cooling towards running Prem and Championship at Oxford

Fact bomb.

Only three current riders from opposing clubs have higher 2025 away averages than Jaimon. Emil isn’t one of them.

https://britishspeedway.co.uk/2025-rider-statistics/

GSA yes, AVE (including bonus) no.

You’d be pushed to find anyone who would chose to have Jaimon over Emil (probably unless you’re from BV) for any meeting home or away.

The sun certainly ain’t shining in Belle Vue. You spent all your money on x2 grand prixs and half your fans don’t even turn up until September 😂 oh sorry neither does your captain 😂
