What happens if this is the case every week, do they just not finish the season? What if Birmingham took that attitude, they'd have cancelled every match! The fact that Monday's weather looks so good, makes me feel that it was called off too early. At least try & sort the track once it's had a couple of hours of sun on it. Considering Buster is meant to be a track guru and could sort out a waterlogged track in a couple of hours,it makes this call off look very fishy.

I believe an official from the BSPL/SCB had to sign it off. Why was this stopped? The blokes a complete see you next Tuesday Not sure it has stopped. It must of been signed off by someone. Im guessing this pic, and a yellow weather warning was enough.. Anyone can check the radar (even I managed it ) Was the briefest of very light showers and forecast is for 7 hours of completely dry conditions with a warm day and stiff drying wind Granted not easy and straightforward given the very significant rainfall of the last 24 hours or so but certainly perfectly possible IF the will is there.....

I didn't know how long it was going to rain for when i posted it Only lasted 20 mins. Did soak the road. But dry now, just cloudy, with the odd break through of sun at 13.49. Is that correct

Is that correct Rainfall radar suggests a couple of brief showers passed earlier, but nothing more until the possibility of another one circa 9pm. This call-off scores about 9.2 out of 10 on the 'crock o' rubbish' ometer.

I also posted this afternoon, that it had been dry since, with the odd sun break through.. And i also posted yesterday " If we get no rain tomorrow, the track could of been ready" Personally, i hope it pi$$es down at 7.30.. POSTPONED: KING’S LYNN v SHEFFIELD (ROWE MOTOR OIL PREM) – British Speedway Official Website Amazes me Buster changes the centre green from grass to concrete then where does all the water run. You’ve all guessed it on the track causing it to be waterlogged. What a knob. Edited July 7 by Youhave2minutes 2

ShanoXtra
Makes me a laugh that its a rain off with little rain, yet every Grand Prix that has a watered track or bad conditions is labelled by Tatum with... " this will suit the British riding boys as they are used to racing in these conditions in the UK"... evidently not in Norfolk !
chun
No rain south of Teesside on the radar. Did they go early with the call off?
marko
They run when they want and then wonder why no one turns up when it’s wet and cold at the end of the season and matches have to be got on, it’s because the public have been trained that speedway can’t take place unless it’s been baking hot for three days before hand.

kelvinht
One wonders if Jack needed to tend his sick child as well (hope they are OK BTW, whatever it is..) so to save face Sheffield wanted a postponement as well....stead has been remarkable quiet on the situation.... I think at that point Buster said never again. Riders didn’t even try.

Yep, considering they wouldn’t have had Chris H, I think Sheffield wanted the postponement also… probably more so than us 🤷🏻♂️ the track needed a hell of a lot of work doing to it after the stock cars on Saturday and Buster couldn’t do anything Sunday because it was soaking wet. Lynn had Kvech and were getting a guest for Ben and I know for a fact Lynn wanted the meeting on (despite what brainless people on here think or say) and as you say, Simon Stead and Sheffield have been awfully quiet Edited July 7 by SuperStarsFan91
