Enjoyable meeting and nice to see you could actually pass if you did not make the gate.Enjoyed the interview with Sam Masters and was telling people he was flying from Liverpool for Poland. Most of the comets had there moments and was a solid display.

Vinnie showed alot better than his 2 points got him  now if only anttti was like that away! A few of the boys went out to practice after the meeting ,next weekend will be a tough test .

Vinnie done well at Glasgow beating a much in form Leon Flint. Watched Fraser, Tate and Batch after the meeting.Antti is an enigma for sure, can be absolutely brilliant at times.

Yeh i also heard this. Confusing though because the program yesterday stated he wasn't happy with his first bike a couple meetings ago and switched to his second. Why didn't he use his second instead of borrowing one.

No idea. Must of had his reasons if correct.

Were they the 3 to go out and practice? I was just saying during the meeting that Batch could return to a top heat leader if only he got out and practiced more. Good on him.

I know he's not everyone's cuppa tea but I like him and want him to do well this season

He did. What actually happened was: tried his 2nd engine at Glasgow which had been good previously, but after first heat it wasn't good, so swapped to 2nd bike with his usual Workington engine. After his 3rd ride that engine blew up immediately after the race snapping its camchain. Back onto first bike for heat 13 with some big changes and managed to get a win whilst feeling slow. For Workington, now only had one bike so borrowed an engine from Jacob Hook ( as his workshop is in Workington) that was "strong" so that he had 2 bikes (the alternative was a 20 hr round trip to home to collect a spare engine, but only had 19 hrs before the next meeting). Tried Hooky's engine in the first 2 heats but struggled to get out of the starts with it ( heavier flywheels than normal may have been the difference? but jumped back onto the underperforming engine again for the last 2 rides and made some radical changes again and managed to win heat 13 again with a massive cutback off the first turn and a defensive ride. Was out after the meeting on that same underperforming engine trying some other radical changes to see if they helped it to perform better. So a frustrating weekend some high points, some low points and no doubt a big bill to come too.

Hope that explains what happened

Ahh that makes more sense. Hopefully he gets it all sorted before next weekend. Busy weekend coming and we need him on top form. It's good to see him out practicing trying to sort it though.
