That was my first time seeing Micth McDiarmid in person, and I was impressed.  People on here go on about William Cairns constantly (mainly the Poole fans, to be fair), but McDiarmid is only a year older and looks a proper talent.

I agree when I have seen him at Oxford he looks a good prospect

Agreed, he impressed me at Foxhall last week

Dust was terrible towards the end of the meeting. Shame because the first few heats had some good racing.

Trouble is there was rain showing on the radar as approaching, so to water it could have been folly... not that anybody seemed to realise this at the pace the meeting was run!

There was, but a sprinkle wouldn't have hurt midway through I think. It got so bad the last couple of heats I gave up trying to write in my program, my pen just wouldn't write.

I noticed as well that the dirt line got so wide that even Max Fricke couldn't do anything with it in the later heats, like I say it was a shame because the first few heats had some good passing in.

I was getting weather warnings about thunderstorms just before I left home so I was keeping an eye on the radar all night and the rain that was heading up north was just about running out of steam as it got to Leicester.

The dirt did get wide and Magic was pulling some massive lines especially around turns 1 & 2 out of the gate, thought he was quite impressive last night... compared to his last visit to BP.
