TTT
Ipswich by 20+ Kurtz won't take any risks now as he's got a serious chance of becoming WC this year, Bewley will score a few and Lidsey will chip in if he makes a Gate. Don't expect anything from Blodorn, Cook, Zischke or Mulford.
ouch
Very much a gating contest and one our bottom end have been successful at in the not too distant past. Norick has fairly recently posted scores of Paid 9 & 2 Paid 8’s but he was making the all important start, so crucial at Foxhall. Similarly Jake 2 Paid 6’s and Zach Paid 13 & Paid 10, both riders wearing their gating gloves on those occasions. I’m not overly optimistic of an Aces win nor an exciting night’s actions as the gate’n’go leagues second best gaters take on the perennial worst of the bunch. All those “it’s only 15 minutes of entertainment” will be having kittens as this one will be down to less than 2 minutes.

Doyle passed Kurtz Heat 6….King passed Bewley Heat 8…. Mulford gated twice both times passed by King Heat 14…. Thompson and Cook good battle Heat 15…. King passed Kurtz So yes our track isn’t as good as yours but you still get some good overtaking and close races Though it does seem that when your team do gate at Foxhall the home team have the skill set to get past. Last night proved it’s not just the technical tracks that your bottom 4 struggle with it’s any track

I would prefer my club to change if they can to improve the team.
bellevueace
This will be a heavy defeat, nothing to do with the track more to do with our engine room and reserves not being able to support the top two away from home. Changes should have been made, apart from Bewley and Kurtz getting out the gate i can see the home riders reeling in the rest and Dan and Brady have been passed at Foxhall when making the gate as well. Bottom line is we arent as a good a team as Ipswich.

GeneralMelchett
Take heart Aces fans, Kurtz can beat the best at Foxhall IF he gates, Zac Cook had a blistering meeting when riding for Wolves the other year so it can be done. I think the Witches will win but it won't be a walk in the park. I think something like 50-40 - looking forward to it anyway and plan to be there.
ShanoXtra
Disappointed not to see Jenkins named. He will need meeting to get up to speed so are we not backing him or what?

They’re not the sort to go back on that so Edwards (rightly IMO) will get the full 28 days.

You are very strange Speedway has always had big and small tracks that’s the essence of the sport Of course your track is great but not every track can be like that can it The fact is at Belle Vue you have the best two riders in the league (arguably) These two riders go well everywhere and I’ve seen Bewley come from the back at Foxhall many times including one sensational race with Emil … I spoke to Bewley a couple of times and he loves riding Foxhall and Kurtz also doesn’t mind it … this is called class and talent Unfortunately the rest of your team (unless Lidsey traps) can only ride the home track and are vulnerable away …. This is how speedway is now all about fast engines and the skill set isn’t required as much If the rest of your team attack away tracks like the top 2 then you would do much better

Nobody wanted to attack the air fence from Belle Vue, Holder alluded to the fact he doesn’t like heat 13 when he had stiff competition and has to ride as wide as possible. Can I just add I personally think Bewley is the most likeable Brit we have, he is very down to earth and just feels like a guy who wants to get on his bike and push the limits, I think he has more about him than Kurtz who does give up more than Bewley or opts to not get involved, people give him a pass because of fighting for the world title but for me, Bewley gives more to Belle Vue and British Speedway. When Doyle hangs up his Kevlars I’d love to see Bewley down here (I know it won’t happen).

Absolutely agree Spoken to Dan a few times at Ipswich always got time to have pics after the meeting with my kids and speaks well He has said to me he likes Ipswich and he said the home riders are dialled on and he likes the challenge of where to put the bike to get the best out of it ….. Yes he flies around his home track but a truely top rider wants to learn all tracks and skills and he certainly does that including winning at Cardiff twice Chatted to Kurtz too last time and he came across a decent guy to be fair would be good to see him win the world championship
