No complaints Workington the better team on the day by a considerable distance.

What’s the script with replacing Max Perry this afternoon? Are there any restrictions in place for replacing a 2.00 rider or one on such short notice?

If not and with all due respect to the young man, Stene Pijper is drastically out of his depth and will not score a point today, barring excisions and/or mechanical gremlins.

There’s an entire NDL. Surely there are better options.

Who would you have got to guest instead?

Exactly.  One of the worst prepared tracks I've ever seen.  An absolute disgrace.

Nonsense Glasgow know how Workington will prepare the track it is no secret. Just like the 'race-surface' at Poole. Workington are deserving of their win after showing up well at  Ashfield. Shoots of promise for next season.

Track has been much slicker lately than it was today. Plenty of opportunities to pass, sure I remember Hook going round Harris, most other Comets had to produce at least one pass today, and both Tigers managed to relegate Batch to the back in ht 13 (after he'd also come from the back in an earlier ht). Some of what I'm reading on here is utter nonsense, I've seen a hell of a lot worse meetings than that.

Think it is more a case that some on here expect the high level of performance we have produced most weeks.

It then becomes a disaster if we get a result like today.

Personally I think you have to congratulate the opposition for out fighting us in every department and it should spur us on too make sure it doesn’t happen again.

I replied to different posts, trust you're capable of understanding that or if you're still confused ask your mum for help.  Run along now.

No worries. I will also ask her to see if an admin can edit your name to the correct spelling. Thanks for the laugh, Spwokit.

Good win for the comets, obviously wanted it more. Disappointed with the Tigers performance, was expecting a lot more. Track produced the best racing it has in weeks. Didn’t see the comets struggling to pass. Must have been a bomber Harris impersonator riding today.

Wouldn’t read too much into this today we didn’t perform as we can or have done.

Track was the same for both teams we were just beaten by the better team on the day, it happens and we move on.

There are some sore sour losers in here. Was there a lot of dust? Yes. Was it a poor track? Absolutely not. To say there was "no passing" is ridiculous. Maybe no passing by the Glasgow lads but im pretty sure Jacob Hook passed on the outside twice, jye did, Tate did, batchelor did, vuolas did, and vinnie gave it a good go too.

Got battered by the better team on the day. Wind your necks in and take the defeat.
