Leon said he had his leg taken away with z cooks dirt deflector

Steve Shovlar
Cracking meeting tonight played out in front of a big crowd. Track was excellent tonight. Plenty of dirt and well watered. No dust at all and no watering during the meeting. Lots of passing and brave riding. A few very tough first bends. No quarter given by either side. Lead could have been bigger if Kerr maintained his bikes to a decent standard. Crowd thought the same post meeting judging by the reaction to his excuses. Not good enough and needs to sort himself out for the end of the season. Not expecting him to. Starke is finally riding with a bit more urgency. Good to see. Cairns was excellent tonight until his last ride when he completely messed up his start. No criticism though as he is improving nicely. Thomsen very good. Rowe poor but he knows it. Lawson simply immense. Defying logic to be honest. A run of the mill ageing journeyman has turned into a superb number one and rarely has a duff ride. Serious top notch at Championship level and pretty good in the Premiership as well. For Glasgow Harris was excellent. Chased after Lawson and was his usual self. A bit unlucky in heat 15 with Howarth in third blocking any chance Harris had of chasing after Cook. Howarth was very fast, Dan Thompson solid. Bowes tried, as did Flint. The reserves tried and both perhaps deserved more. Fourteen point lead. Enough? Not sure with Nagels riding. But at least it will be a thriller. Just hope we get the opportunity to watch a stream. mac101
although Leon lifted coming off the bend he had it under control going into the bend just in front of Zack even the Poole rider watching it on the tv in the pits started laughing a

Steve Shovlar
Re Flint exclusion. Flint lifted and this allowed Cook to charge under him entering the third bend. Flint was clearly not expecting Cook to come under him and lost it. Clear gap between them. Ref watched the replay several times and correctly excluded Flint. Watching in the main stand I don’t think a single spectator expected Cook to be excluded. Looked clear what happened.

Leon can say what he wants but we can't see that unless standing by the 3rd bend. I'm assuming the ref being at top of the stand, she has more of a birds eye view? Well it looked like Zach came under him and Leon tried to cut back but Cook was already there. If Leon is correct about Cook's deflector catching Flint then that shows Zach was in front at the time. Leon left a big gap, prob why he got excluded. Not like Zach went for a gap that wasn't there.

LisaColette
Score line a bit harsh on Glasgow really. But happily have a 14 point lead. Second leg looks feisty already! Poole vs Glasgow is like last years Poole vs Oxford. Edited 1 hour ago by LisaColette
