Now it’s our turn to make Ashfield a wall of noise. “Dayle Wood received a great deal of abuse for some reason and I had disgusting insults hurled at me about my wife. She was also subjected to dreadful abuse in our league fixture at Poole. “Other riders and mechanics were also sworn at in a dreadful manner. “This all happened next to the pits. The clerk of the course was aware of the abuse. We have also sent a letter of complaint to the Speedway Control Bureau. “Any Poole fan or official who dismisses this should be ashamed of themselves. This shouldn’t be happening in speedway. “Fans from other clubs, and even some Poole fans, have commented and got in touch saying they have suffered from the same vile abuse. It needs to be stamped out. “Poole have an outstanding record in the sport but this really tarnishes the reputation of a great club.” https://glasgowtigers.co.uk/brown-turn-up-the-noise/ Maybe the Poole management need to make a statement as everything from Glasgow atm, so would be good to hear from them about what they are planning to do. Wow! The things people say to generate a decent crowd when you are 14 points down!?😉

I'd be interested to know if they had a better experience this season or not. I did wonder if it was to do with the H14 exclusion or if it happened during the whole meeting? It started from around ht 2 from a group beside the pit entrance, the security did go and speak to them but it didn’t seem to do anything really they just got worse as the meeting went on 1

I don't think Glasgow are skint, and its been reported to the SCB. Could be another slap on the wrist for Poole. Twice in a month isn't it ? What's going on down there

Cami should know better not too get involved .IMO
SteveLyric2
I can't say what happened. I was in my grandstand seat applauding every race as usual and enjoying the great atmosphere from a large crowd . What gets me is all the 'holier than thou' people on here who won't admit that EVERY club has at least one or two idiots that act irresponsibly - usually alcohol-fuelled! Moving on.... are both teams using r/r or a guest on Sunday??

At next meeting with Glasgow -- there's bound to be at least one! -- the promotion should keep a watching brief on this cabal, identify those concerned and warn them against causing further trouble. A public statement regarding the incident (and, if security had to be called, it happened) might also be sensible.

What's going on down there Been twice to Poole whilst down there working. First time I saw Scott Nicholls (Leicester) fall and the Poole crowd cheered, second time I went Bomber (Rye House) fell and again the crowd cheered, a guy sat next to me and laughed so I asked him why they do that before they even know if the rider is injured, his answer was "it`s something we do and don`t care if the rider is injured", so I told him what I thought of him and he didn`t speak to me again 😂 1
