“These fixtures are only qualifiers we’ll be there when it really matters”

”Let’s wait until September”

Well Belle Vue stank in the “qualifiers”, and then they stank in the play offs too. Who’d have thunk it!

Where is Acebelle and Ouch by the way? They seemed to have disappeared..

They will say that they never change their team mid season in their holier than though way, Belle Vue always do it the right way even if it costs them any chance of success.

Lads earning £500k + should just in Poland and not ride over for their “ pocket money .

I agree, however...

Getting them to ride over here will bring the thousands of fans back that have deserted the tracks over the past decade or so....

-_-

And Bankrupt more Clubs🤔and most of the diehards are dying off.

I for one would like to see the Accounts of Gp Clubs, can’t imagine what they would look like.

There’s next season’s restructuring to look forward too  though.🧑🏼‍🦯🤔

Good to see Adam riding so well.

A "cheat code" at reserve for the play offs...

I still rank him in the top five GB riders when fully fit...

Very bitter.  Thompson ha# been excellent at reserve all season. One ride/point (0.04) separating Ellis and Thompson in the September green sheets, and it upset the balance of the Ipswich team.

Having riders who can adapt to conditions is important. Throttle-jockeys can't win everything 😉

Not bitter at all...

I rate Adam highly so Ipswich should use him wisely over the next two meetings...

Very lucky to have someone who can still beat No1's at reserve...

As I say, a "cheat code" if used correctly when replacing others...

I never criticise him. He’s my son.

I wasn't criticising him, no one uses that outside line better than Adam, but the track conditions made that very difficult unfortunately...

What's wrong with paid 9 from 4 rides?

Whole lot of difference from shutting the throttle off and not attempting to mix it.

I didn't watch it, so can't comment on Zmarzlik's actual performance, he could well have gated which he's far from bad at and stuck in his position without trying to overtake any of the riders in front of him.  8 paid 9 from 4 riders is a bad night for a rider who averages 10.87 in that league.

Emil has never been a good gater so he was never going to go well in those conditions, Bewley likewise hence why I'm backing Dan up.

Kurtz is a known gater who just couldn't be asked to try, That's the difference between the three.

No rider will get on the podium over the course of a GP series if they can't gate, not everyone can be Artem Laguta or Erik Gundersen away from the tapes but every rider in the GP series ever must be capable of making a reasonable consistent starts or they wouldn't be capable of maintaining a spot in the series.

Mountain dropped for Zischke last year is evidence that is not always the case.

You could say it was very poor scheduling to have this leg a few days before the biggest meeting for both Brady and Dan - surely it would have been better to have the first leg of the other semi last night and then we would have seen the best of Brady and Dan - as we usually do!

You do realise there are 2 GP riders in the other semi as well ? One who has a very slight mathematical chance of a bronze medal, and the other in a fight for a guaranteed place in the series next year. Why would it have been OK for them to race last night, but not fair for the Belle Vue riders ?

Common sense would have been for the semis to start a week later, after the final GP.

We already had someone who could beat No.1's at reserve in Dan T

I do not buy into the opinion that a wet track favours the away side. It didn't favour Ipswich when they blew it in 2023, Leicester when they crumbled in last years first leg or the reigning champs last night. BV simply have not been good enough and that is the truth of the matter. We will try again next year, and get behind "throttle jockey" Brady (i find that modern term very insulting to the "throttle jockeys" that have won world titles) in his quest to win the title.

No your choosing who to hold accountable, its all or none as far as I'm concerned.

Have read through the comments on Kurtz s performance last night ,have not watched the match but don t blame him for playing it safe and not doing anything too risky.I personally think that winning a world championship Gold medal is more important than winning a league championship medal.I think if you ask any rider which they would rather have they would prefer the the world championship gold

Kings Lynn had a Gp star at reserve this season which didn’t do them any good in the long run

All about how your team is built and Belle Vue got it wrong

Having said that riders like Blodorn and Cook who are atrocious at Foxhall stepped it up massively last night only to be let down by the big 2…… can’t count Lidsey as he was never likely to do well in those conditions

So Belle Vue fans can spend their hard earned money all season only to see their top rider not being bothered in the clubs biggest meeting of the season

Yes Brady has bigger fish to fry but Doyle needs a good GP to try and get a wildcard next season ….. he would not have wanted to miss Vojens …. But you didn’t see him not trying …..

I also think Bewley would have done much better in good conditions and Kurtz still wouldn’t try

We will have to agree to disagree. If Doyle was going for another  world title he might have viewed last nights meeting differently we will never know .By the way Doyle should get a wild card anyway in my opinion.

I'm basing it off facts.

Any knowledgeable Speedway fans knows full well that Bewley and Sayfutdinov are poor gaters.

Doyle 18/1 to win in Vojens is a cracking bet.

Track was a gaters paradise tonight for SGP 2 and the weather forecast isn't good for tomorrow.

Kurtz and Zmarzlik may be obsessed with each other to a point where neither of them win the GP imo.
