If Danny King leaves after 21 years it will be his decision… he could have easily been sacked last year but wasn’t

You talk so much crap it’s very hard to find the decent bits

Give your head a wobble if you think Ipswich isn’t family run …. Louis family .. Woodward family … it’s a real family club

I’m still waiting for evidence we poach riders …. Similar to you ‘poaching Cook from Birmingham

I meant family as more of an ethos at our club and not a blood thing, I mean the Krays & the Wests were family but not like the Belle Vue family.

Last season Birmingham SACKED Zach Cook.

I’m guessing you’re trolling about Tom not being poached so it’s back in your box. I look in every now and again if bored and I have to say you’re all no better than before which is a real shame for this forum. Troll away to your heart content as I’ll not be correcting your nonsense for a good while.

Well he clearly wasn’t just talking about the podium they were standing on was he 🙄 it’s obvious he was talking about the supporters and the atmosphere around it. They weren’t supplied by British Speedway.

It was good mate, cause they let fans onto the center green which you can't do at most tracks due to H&S.

In your opinion it’s nonsense, in MY opinion, it isn’t. As I said, we’ll agree to disagree. There’s been far too many riders over the years to mention that have come out and said riding different size tracks was good for their careers and improved them as riders. Moving from the NSS would be a breath of fresh air for him. You disagree because you see him as a Belle Vue rider and nothing else and don’t want him to move.

Ha ha why would moving from the NSS be a breath of fresh air, simple because you want him at your club.   The NSS is his favourite track as hes said many times.  Many riders have said riding small tracks helped them but its a different world now, you don't need to master a track like Ipswich to be world champion.  Also Bewley was good at Wolves hes excellent at Oxford.  He needs to be more consistent from the gate (maybe he'd learn that at Ipswich because you don't get that much chance to pass?)  and smarter in the 1st bend at GP level, nothing to do with small tracks.  If does leave it would be for Money, but im sure the Aces owners wouldn't let him slip away for that.   Only in British Speedway can we have an opinion that riding on one of thee best tracks in the world is holding a rider back.  I can understand why you want him though, hes one of the most marketable riders in the world.

Zach Cook rode until the end of the season at Birmingham but wasn’t tapped up by Belle Vue and his brother

And your comments about lpswich aren’t trolling ???

We do not poach riders no more than you do … we signed 2 sacked riders in Ellis and Thompson lol

Very on the nose re the witches team building ethic. I particularly like the goodbye to “Mr Ipswich”. Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out!

Belle Vue are more a family and that is why most of the team have only ever ridden for Belle Vue with some for many years. Three finals and two wins in five seasons is proof it works for us but I get others attraction to a team basically generated by AI, however disconnected any success feels to fans. The only downside for us is we need to lose riders year on year and haven’t had the luxury to strengthen up as the weaker teams from last season could. It’s a method of distributing the trophies among other teams which is a fine idea but difficult to watch when riders you’ve massively helped along are aiding your downfall. The perennial race to the bottom our sport so admirers.

In the UK Dan rides around 50% of his meetings on gate’n’go tracks and the only thing he’d learn elsewhere is how to gate consistently. I’m more than happy with the exciting Dan we have now, a rider that all but two (one of which is another Belle Vue rider) of the riders in the world would want to emulate.  To suggest the NSS is holding back a riders development is bizarre, even for BSF given the amount of FIM medals amassed recently.

The notion Ipswich aren’t a family club is just flagrant trolling - fwiw belle vue are a similarly run club imo showing loyalty over countless years.

Really can’t understand your constant derisive rhetoric towards the witches.

Now being run by a second generation of the Louis family, both of whom were succesful riders and promoters over many decades.

Captained by a rider who first rode for us as a 16 year old 21 years ago. Managed by a former captain of many years.

Led from the front by world class riders in Emil and Doyle - Doyley being quoted as saying he’d happily see out his British career at the club. Ellis a returning rider who first rode at reserve as a teenager, Dan Thompson career revived when at a crossroads being dumped by Leicester, rew returning to help us win the trophy with Hawkins describing him in the meeting preview as “his first choice as soon as Adam was out, he’s our rider” Ipswich our as much a family as any club

Now more than ever the speedway community needs to pull together and cohesively push towards a sustainable future for British speedway where we’re retaining clubs and even hopefully seeing past clubs re open or even new ventures come to fruition like Workington have in the last couple of years.

I took my aged 9 t shirt with me Thursday as a good luck charm, signed by all 6 riders of the 98 team of 27 years ago on the track in the wild celebrations that night we won it all, it was a great talking piece with other fans around me reminiscing of that night sharing stories and remembering dad having to hoist me up over the fence so Tony rickardsson could reach to sign it for me! It’s certainly felt like a family club to me over the 36 years I’ve been going and others far longer, I’m a third generation fan with my grandfather even helping dig it out when it was originally built.
