The AGM has nearly always been a jolly, if you believe the talk that most clubs are struggling financially, why do they most years, agree to go to foreign places costing many hundreds/ thousands of £ss  ?  This is not the 1st time it's been held in rugby, doing this at most a night in the local Travelodge is the cost

Let’s do things different at the AGM. All decisions must be made before alcohol is consumed. This hopefully will resolve past issues.

All new rules are allegedly agreed before the AGM, then voted on at the AGM, so it's only a case of hands up, can't be that difficult 😜
