Can't be nowt to bother about after all folks as it was 4 days in Tenerife last year. Guess they are always on the booze and tanked up that’s why wrong decision's are made

Decisions and/or recommendations should be discussed and rubber-stamped at the AGM, as is the case with most company AGMs. True. So Tenerife just a jolly then or maybe can't be justified this year under the current circumstances.

The AGM has nearly always been a jolly, if you believe the talk that most clubs are struggling financially, why do they most years, agree to go to foreign places costing many hundreds/ thousands of £ss ? This is not the 1st time it's been held in rugby, doing this at most a night in the local Travelodge is the cost
Youhave2minutes Posted yesterday at 11:18 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 11:18 AM Let’s do things different at the AGM. All decisions must be made before alcohol is consumed. This hopefully will resolve past issues.

All new rules are allegedly agreed before the AGM, then voted on at the AGM, so it's only a case of hands up, can't be that difficult 😜

tyretrax Posted yesterday at 05:00 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 05:00 PM Why do people criticise promoters for going abroad for the AGM, they don't usually have a holiday mid season? People moan about cost of living but jet off to Spain on holiday.

Been various talks for weeks/months via zoom/teams and in person. So in theory just a vote at AGM for next season, and to close the books on this season. Just like any other AGM of a pub club/ team

Its just that some teams' seasons are over a lot sooner than others!😇 Edited 8 hours ago by SteveLyric2

STEVEHOLS54
Bit of a random one to get Poole 2026 Forum back on track. Saw someone open a forum subject this week on young Swede Philip Hellstrom-Bangs (Age 22). Comment was that he might give POL EXL a miss in 2026 and consider riding in UK. I see he has just signed in SWE Prem last 2/3 days (Tue Raceday). He would be on a 6 point GSA due to riding POL EXL. In fact as I type this just seen an interview posted on SportFakty in last hour during which hew said. "I have a few contacts in England, so we'll see what comes of it. I'm open to suggestions. I think it would really benefit me a lot – the tracks are difficult, technical, and riding there could be an interesting challenge," he says in an interview with speedwayfans In the same interview it mentioned he may not be doing POL this year. The interview leaned towards Prem BUT could he double up if POL not happening, and if so could be a decent signing on 6 points if not looking for megabucks ?? If affordable would prefer him to the likes of Bowes on 5.63. Bangs was also top 3 over 3 meetings of the SGP2 in 2024. Any thoughts or will the Fords steer clear of investing in any of the young foreign talent with experience of riding in POL, with maybe exception of hopefully Bailey who looks a level above anything above what we have in UK at just turned 16. You could have Bowes,Hellstrom Bangs and Bailey I’m pretty sure think we would be nearly a point under the limit but that would be one hell of an exciting team alongside Rushen and cairns.
