On Tuesday, while fitting a new engine, I was struck directly in the eye by an exhaust spring under load. I was taken to the eye emergency department at Bournemouth Hospital, where I was diagnosed with a deep traumatic corneal abrasion. The injury has left me with a bloodshot eye that is light sensitive and has been causing headaches. At the moment, all I can really do is rest, but there are improvements each day.
