Unless they are employed full time, the riders are self employed and it would be a restriction of trade. Would never stand up in court. the Polish league could say we are not going to employ these riders who refuse to obey us, but again that would be discrimination. And would Polish clubs tow the line when there are British riders they would want in their team? They could test the waters but Kurtz, Holder, Doyle and a few others could refuse the rule or demand a large wage rise which covers their loss of earnings. No, but if it is 1 other league are they going to choose premiership over championship in UK?

Poland won't force any rider to do anything,it will be a clause in their contract, they don't have to sign it . I believe when Damon Hill was driving f1 for Williams,Damon who was a dead keen biker had a clause forbidding him to ride motorbikes (risk of injury)

I know of a Bournemouth footballer who was going to come out with me for a paragliding tandem ride. The club stopped him saying the sport was far too dangerous and that was that. for Poland to stop a young rider developing in two leagues in his own country is never going to hold any water. The usual posturing from Poland but they know it can’t be enforced and a simple challenge in court would see them back down. To “ban” a rider because they don’t want them to ride in two leagues in a foreign country would be against EU laws and would fall over quickly.

They don't need to ban anyone just say we will not use you if you do. He who's paying the most will usually have the final say.
Neila
Have you seen how much Poland pay the riders , plenty of info via a Google search, all they have to do is offer a rider say £500 a point top riders are on 10 times that, then a clause in the contract you can only ride in one other league. Most riders are gonna put the polish money first, rather than ride in the UK for £75-£125 a point. Just got to see how little the British final winner got £1750 😲 look up Dan T's vlog
