The newcomer is a constant issue, having that lack of understanding of Berwick, Scunny, Edinburgh, Plymouth(the more unique tracks) I think Workington would benefit from having a Kyle Howarth sort of rider who gives you a solid performance at every track. New riders will get used to the GT Tyres Arena fairly easy and would perform to a level that Hook, Zischke and Etheridge are at IMO. It may be time for change at Workington, would love to see Klindt and Grahn in there in 2026. You obviously like Jonatan Grahn. He certainly appeared well suited to Northside going by his performances against us last season .He came in on an assessed 5.00 and finished on 5.30. He dropped to reserve which seen him score better generally. Would make a solid No2. I would think the Monarchs will be wanting to keep hold of him. When you say Worky would benefit from having a Kyle Howarth figure who gives you a solid performance at every track, we have one Batch, he just didn't replicate the home form he showed in 2024 this season but away apart from his first meeting at Scunny he was generally very good away from home. We just need a good No1 to partner him. I like racers so Tate on his average has to be back with better equipment and an even more professional attitude. Riders worth consideration imo from last season are Kye Thompson (5.93) and Lasse Fredriksen. (5.49).

I agree with this. He had an article in the Speedway Star saying he would like another blast in the UK.
TTT
Could go....Doesn't look great but lots of improvement in this Team imo from Zischke, Gusts and Grahn. 1. N. Klindt 8.36 or P. I personally don’t believe batch will be back but we don’t know yet. Kye Thomson is definitely one to consider and enjoys Workington. As for Grahn, he’s fantastic at Workington and can become a top, top rider round there. His away form is average but with a seasons experience in the bag that may lead to an improvement this year. Tate obviously has a lot of talent but it’s so hit and miss with him, that may be down to mechanical issues (I don’t know) Really hope he gets back to the form of that first season because he was sensational.

soupy
If you just want to win the home meetings Etheridge and Voulas would be good and hope you make the play offs,I thought last season most of the riders had good moments and some bad as well and need more consistency at home.I do not think the track did not help and that is not a criticism of the track work or anything it was sometimes heat 7 before the tracked worked for home advantage as being just one line inside. What happened to the days when you moved the opposing rider of the white line with a cut inside as going wide you just went back in the early heats,
Neila
Think early season the warm dry sunny weather and afternoon meetings affected track preparation a lot, later in the season running later in the day certainly helped out. Evening meetings under lights would help, but would you spend a lot of money putting in lights, given the potential state of speedway is in at the moment. We the fans, at all clubs don't even know for sure that the AGM has gone ahead or been postponed to January 🤔
