Got to remember this will be a watered down league. If 36 for 6 riders then a few mid range guys will be out of jobs

If we are talking about watering down, let’s use the surplus to fill up the reservoirs

I'd be happy if it is the BV side as I don't see anything to worry about tbh.

PHB, Blodorn, Zischke & Mulford is a terrible tail even in a watered down league imo.

Let’s not keep talking about water, it’s sure to bring on more rain

Current rules 4.50 but with our apparent interest in the lad the rules might be altered for ‘26 and he could be 5 or above. That will depend on our proposed lineup.

Amazes me that you manage to stand up given the giant size of that chip on your shoulder .....:P

if prices stay the same it'll be far too much

Rents won't come down though, neither will the riders costs of those who do get a team place, (of all levels)...

And if no TV deal, it will remove a huge amount from the budget.....

Even "staying the same" might just be a pipe dream..

Which isn't going to help move the sport forward in anyway, shape or form, is it?

The hole they have dug for themselves over the last two decades is certainly a very deep one to climb out of...

Unfortunately those who sleep walked themselves into it, are also, in the main, the same ones trying to get themselves out of it...

just reading Gusts wants another chance at UK, id be willing to give him a chance at a better run club and a track more suited to him, so how about this

kurtz

gusts

tungate

cook, cook, zagar, magic, wright, rew (all fit)

Bewley

Tate

RS

Much better side imo, Gusts and Tungate's GSA's represent value.

Belle Vue certainly need a Cook Brother in the engine room so it looks like a good team to me.

I think Belle Vue have to look at the bigger picture instead of the usual......We want Kurtz and Bewley.

It may very well be a weakend League next season but don't forget that Belle Vue weren't seriously challenging for anything this season with Kurtz and Bewley being backed up by Lidsey and Z. Cook.

To fit Kurtz and Bewley in again within a 36.00 Limit then you'll need to get rid of the 2025 backup to them and put faith in riders who haven't improved at all.

Any planning for 2026 should see a No.3 & No.4 pairing of B. Cook and Z. Cook imo, Two riders who can fligh around the NSS in the engine room and improve starting GSA's of 6.39 and 6.20.

Is Lidsey swerving the UK next year? If a team could fit him in, he’d be a great little no. 5 in a watered down league …

Yes some fair points.

For me these clubs just want it to fall on there laps. How many teams actively try and promote the sport in the towns and surrounding areas? Ipswich have a partnership with Ipswich Town in last few years and crowds are very good at Foxhall but with a bit more promoting it could be even better.

There's companies wanting to spend money to avoid tax it's just going out and getting them. Amateur sport has to do this so why shouldn't "professional speedway"
