ShanoXtra
Jenkins signed for Ipswich then I guess after posting one of the sponsors for 2026 is Suffolk floor restore.

That makes sense & I suspect that we’ll have Brennan,King & Jenkins back alongside Edwards from last year. However I did hear a whisper that only 3 from last year were back. So could 1 of Brennan , Jenkins or King be off to Northampton ?? Or really left field King is back but as Team Manager. kevin bass
Jenkins seems a bit injured prone for my liking, had a few to many crashes last season.
Baldyman
If Jenkins get 25% off then fair enough, if not then he will have to have a good season,, like above, very injury prone. Jury is out for me.

His future lies in the Championship I think, 'hill of beans' and all that but you can't fault his desire and who knows.

If Jenkins is back, does that point to an SGP No 1? I would be surprised if he is in a team that is more ‘strength in depth’.

Looking at the relevant rules section it doesn't state anywhere the 25% is a one off? If he was allowed to drop back into the scheme then surely all the same rules will apply? SPEEDY69
The rising star is Edwards though.
Witches1998
3 minutes ago, SPEEDY69 said: The rising star is Edwards though. That's not what we are referring to. As jenkins was our rising star last year before being injured if a team signs him in the 1-6 this season i believe he should qualify for the 25% reduction on average for graduating the rising star scheme
Baldyman
If he doesn't get the reduction he will be 4.61 - 2.5%?
Witches1998
Yes he will either be 4.61 -2.5% so 4.50 or -25% so 3.46 I read the rule that he should be 3.46 for the start of 2026
TTT
I'm not concerned when it comes to Jenkins, If it wasn't for injuries then I think his GSA would be even higher tbh. Jenkins and Edwards will be the 3 & 4 Pairing for Redcar this season and more than likely the 6 & 7 pairing for Ipswich so that can only be a benefit to both Clubs. Danny King will be the worry (If signed) because Mayfield will be signing him on a GSA attained mostly @ No.2 and depending on Team Building, Danny could very well end up riding as a Heat Leader this season. A lot better options on similar GSA's like Tobi Musielak and Nicolai Klindt to name a couple.
