Baldyman
I think the number 1 could swap a couple of time during the season

Baldyman
I see Ipswich at their own expense has put rider insurance in place, it's been a good start to the new ownership what with the streaming aswell. Be interesting if they do anything different during a meeting to keep the fans involved. .

Steve Irving
Crikey. I wondered why the “official” British Speedway social media uploaded all the other Premiership clubs’ press and practice activity and excluded Ipswich. Now we know why 😂 Good luck Mayfield, you’ll bloody well need it!! Isn’t this refreshing though? Out with the old, in with the new!
Aries
Chapman/Godfrey time to go. We’re forever going to be stuck in this rut of complete rot while these old hands still have an active control. No disrespect to them btw!! They’ve all done their bit and put money in, but we HAVE to move on for the good of this sport in this country. We’re at a crossroads and it’s time to be ruthless.

Their priorities lie with stock cars.

Or it could be that Ben barker isn’t the only one not happy about this situation and a couple of those Ipswich riders happen to be in the same championship team as barker but whatever it is Ipswich have taken a positive step to resolve it

Nothing wrong with Godfrey and Chapman running their own teams, it’s running the sport where the problems start 2

SuperStarsFan91
Anyone bought tonight’s stream? I’ve just bought it on witchestv.co.uk but it’s not showing up on my purchases… payment has been taken though, twice Edited 1 hour ago by SuperStarsFan91
InTheDeepStuff
Godfrey will behaving heart palpitations seeing that Ipswich news. Supporting their riders and giving fans a streaming service, doesn’t go with with his “take from the sport not give” mantra

Aries
My first thought was this was gonna pi$$ of everyone at BSPL towers, but what if this actually pulls the others in line and shakes them up a bit? Can’t be a bad thing can it?..
MattB
3 hours ago, mikebv said: Looks like this fella has decided to do things "properly".... It won't go down well..... For me, he is exactly what British Speedway needs - but it needs the attitude of the existing promoters to change. Sadly, I've seen little to suggest that British Speedway is nothing but perfectly content with its current amateurish and low-key social setup for them and their mates.
ouch
That’s the way to do it. Implement something and post on socials for maximum effect/ awareness. Other promotions seem happy to implement things quietly whilst most don’t even implement. Love the streaming idea btw. All allies welcome.
