I was told Brennan was on the Bates’ radar for a 2026 team spot and that was due to Pickering’s wage demands not being appreciated, it could quite easily be that Pickering has reduced them to ensure he has a 2026 team spot. I would say that it will be Josh Pickering over Tom Brennan after what he told the Speedway Star regarding the structure of the League's for the coming season.
