It seems Godfrey is not too bother one way or the other on that score. Maybe when he has no supporters left he might take action. I doubt it it!! I think that's what they tried, on their day most of the side can score double figures, but also they can score 2 or 3. Probably need most to be in form every match as they don't have enough quality to cover off form riders.

Tbh their 2026 averages aren't far below their rolling aves, especially Lambert. It's Mountain that's performing poorest compared to his 2025 form. Most of the team are doing what's expected of them, I wouldn't say they are particularly underperforming, they're just a weak team. When it comes to MPT, they put a 6 point rider at number 5, what are fans expecting from him? Edited May 4 by szkocjasid 1
bringbackHalifax
Tin hat time, but I think Jason Garrity is on his to way Scunthorpe very soon on an average under 5.

RS50
Current averages leave Scunthorpe over 2 points under the limit. Scope for improvement. Garritty could improve the team, but there would be other issues with him. How about Voulas?

His average is a bit high but you get a dedicated rider who will perform well at home and a couple of away tracks. He did go missing in a few away meetings last season but you could see he was starting to get the hang of some of tracks. For example, Glasgow he took a couple to get going but I think the track surprised him setup wise. He also started performing well at Berwick until Kildemand booted his bike and put him off. eric i
First league meeting this Saturday, surely a signing must be imminent.
InTheDeepStuff
Can see Drew Kemp back at Scunny as one of the changes, had limited bike time for Daugavpils in Poland so far this season and would be an upgrade on what they have now.

Poland can't be paying Drew's bills, Godfrey should get him signed up in time for Berwick away.

They get decent signing on fees though. He wouldn’t want to have to pay that back if he was to miss meetings.

crescent girl
Well, the changes have been made. What they are I do not know -- but Workington have announced Simon Lambert as a guest on Saturday, clearly meaning he isn't going to be at Berwick.........
