Good result for the Bandits considering their team tonight thought Stewart had blown it giving Victor the T/S surely would have been better being Reid

Reid had a full seven rides tonight. Jye would have been a better T/S than Victor though.

I couldn’t understand that switch, personally I’d I’ve put Morris in Ht 9

You never give a reserve a t/s, he can take the ride whatever the score!

He said give Reid the ride instead of Palovaara.   That would have meant they still had the T/S available to give to Morris if still 6 behind later.   Surely not hard to understand?

A few thoughts on the tac sub situation, if Berwick had used Battye (not as a tac sub), they wouldn't have been able to give Morris the t/s in heat 9 as they weren't 6 down. That would also have meant having to give Smith a 4th ride. TM probably would've got grief for not using a TS as Battye could go in any heat.

So the choice was between Palovaara & Etheridge, in hindsight they made the wrong choice. But at the time both had started with 2 second places, using Etheridge would've given him three-on-the-trot, although Battye ended up having three-on-the-trot later on, I can understand the Palovaara decision.

I wouldn't call it a howler by the TM.

10th of October for second leg. Whats wrong with september?

Plymouth have no fixtures in September, absolute madness being so late. British speedway is a joke tbh

I find it frustrating clubs have big gaps in the fixture list, then run all the finals so late in the season, in this case, seems no reason for the KOC concluding in October.

I would, Palovaara looked slow and uninterested just waving opposing riders past when he made the gate. Then shaking his hand at the end of the race to show he was still sore from his crash at Edinburgh.

The shambles or the fixture list the last couple of seasons is killing of the the sport in GB.Self interest is also still playing a major role. Why we are running ing fixtures in October is laughable if it wasn’t so serious.

Wasn't the cunning plan that the cups were done and dusted "early" in the season?...

You really couldn’t make it up the way the fixtures are turning out.Like you say we had “ this must be run, that must be run” but end up with the same shambles.Sad ,even diehards are losing the will to attend at some tracks.
