Good result for the Bandits considering their team tonight thought Stewart had blown it giving Victor the T/S surely would have been better being Reid

Reid had a full seven rides tonight. Jye would have been a better T/S than Victor though.

I couldn’t understand that switch, personally I’d I’ve put Morris in Ht 9

You never give a reserve a t/s, he can take the ride whatever the score!

He said give Reid the ride instead of Palovaara.   That would have meant they still had the T/S available to give to Morris if still 6 behind later.   Surely not hard to understand?

A few thoughts on the tac sub situation, if Berwick had used Battye (not as a tac sub), they wouldn't have been able to give Morris the t/s in heat 9 as they weren't 6 down. That would also have meant having to give Smith a 4th ride. TM probably would've got grief for not using a TS as Battye could go in any heat.

So the choice was between Palovaara & Etheridge, in hindsight they made the wrong choice. But at the time both had started with 2 second places, using Etheridge would've given him three-on-the-trot, although Battye ended up having three-on-the-trot later on, I can understand the Palovaara decision.

I wouldn't call it a howler by the TM.

10th of October for second leg. Whats wrong with september?

Plymouth have no fixtures in September, absolute madness being so late. British speedway is a joke tbh

I find it frustrating clubs have big gaps in the fixture list, then run all the finals so late in the season, in this case, seems no reason for the KOC concluding in October.

The shambles or the fixture list the last couple of seasons is killing of the the sport in GB.Self interest is also still playing a major role. Why we are running ing fixtures in October is laughable if it wasn’t so serious.

Wasn't the cunning plan that the cups were done and dusted "early" in the season?...

You really couldn’t make it up the way the fixtures are turning out.Like you say we had “ this must be run, that must be run” but end up with the same shambles.Sad ,even diehards are losing the will to attend at some tracks.

I reckon the delayed dates are in the hope that all injured riders are fit and available again.

The bspl decided The dates neither team had any say in it. Just the sorry state of British speedway no actual structure or proper management in place, just make it up as you go along.ffs!

Wish him well in retirement his all action style over the year has been very entertaining .Time catching up with and has taken a few knocks the last couple of seasons.

So, No PK next year, Not sure if Victor will be back either.

Already looking like a very different Bandits lineup in 2027.

Personally I'd start with Nick Morris, Reid Battye and Jye Etheridge.

I wonder if Flint would be a possibility to replace PK?

Other riders i'd like to see considered - Mitch Macdermid, Kevin Juul Pedersen, Jody Scott.

Thoughts?????

I’d love to see Leon back in bandits colours but I suspect Glasgow will be desperate to retain him especially if howarth isn’t back. I have a completely unfounded suspicion kemp could be back. I think next years team should be started by retaining the 3 Aussies. Reid has already confirmed he is staying, I think Jye will be happy to stay, no idea what Nick will do but fingers crossed he stays. Victor has been very hit and miss. Great when he gates, doesn’t look like he can overtake if he doesn’t.

Glasgow prob want Dan T back? Maybe Leon wants to win the league with Glasgow before moving away, as don't think he was in 2023 Glasgow team when they won?

Well that's understandable as Plymouth and Berwick have only had since 28 June to decide dates.

Probably depends on what the team building rules are. I think Glasgow could be after Morris but most teams will be as his average is still lower than his actual level. Morris has guested for Glasgow and cami Brown was sitting front row at Berwick just after that. Speculation in the crowd was he was after Battye but Reid has confirmed he is staying at Berwick. So Morris is the most likely target. Having said that Cami may have just fancied an evening at the speedway as a spectator.
