One Eight point rider and over per team. Agree or disagree?

For me it’s a shame if this method is imposed, as I think personally I don’t see it working successfully for all clubs. What do you all think?

It’s trivial, at this point in time we haven’t got a sport, we need to sort that out before we even contemplate how teams are made up

Presumably the championship are trying to address the issue that has now blighted the Premiership where the outcome of the league is clear before a race is run

If it spreads the better riders throughout the league and stops the top 3 or 4 from signing effectively 2 number 1's then I'm in favour

I get what you’re saying if it’s “off the peg” signings like many teams do but if you sign a couple of 3.00ers, a 4.50, and 7.50 then invest time and money on developing those riders to GP or FIM gold standard then it should be right you can keep them rather than help feather the nest of other clubs that operate outside of our mindset.

Just the Premiership ?  Poole were odds on to win everything in 2025 , and will do so again in 2026.

Let’s face it an 8 point rider isn’t that great …. 4 second places every week and it’s an 8 point average . Hardly a “ heat leader” 

pProbaly a reflection that anyone with a decent bike and who can gate can beat anyone on the modern slick tracks

(i) Red: Well, we have Redcar to thank that they (Poole) didn't.

(ii) Blue: But do you not think that is part of Speedway's problem. It's a predictability thing. I don't think that one or two Clubs winning everything every year is good for Speedway. Speedway is a Sport, there must be competition. Becoming like what Rangers and Celtic used to be in Scottish Football can be very,very boring.

But you know what I mean ..... Ippo to win the p.offs from the moment the season started. Only injury robbed them the year before. Poole almost wiped the board in the PL . 

Just ONE of the problems in British Speedway , predictability.  Not helped  with the boring boring  every meeting run over 15 heats. No variation. WHY ?
