Allot of Poles look exceptional on the world scene when they are young, I assume because the equipment they can afford from Ekstraliga income is on another level than those they are competing against, then once they are no longer young enough to be a reserve they have tougher rides and confidence dips. Once Ekstraliga team building classifies them as a Polish senior the ones who looked world beaters early in their career often end up in second tier Polish league speedway - example Smektala.
