When you think that a good 20% of the crowd are made up of Poles and 40% Mancs... it's a pretty p155 poor turn out from the rest of British Speedway really.

I won't risk that outlay with no roof.

The Danish Martin Smolinski...:D

Too many are ignoring the inside...

Kurtz almost caught Fricke by using it once last night in that last heat.

A safe bet with an FIM meeting... it wouldn't be pretty though if it did rain.

Racing much better in that block once the track slickened off, think that late afternoon shower made it too grippy early doors.

It's all a bit of a damp squib at the moment. Nothing to get excited about as yet

Not sure you can get too excited by tonight’s racing. It is OK but certainly not worth the ticket prices being asked for tonight’s meetings. Sadly not many if any can compete with a Polish round and the enthusiasm of the Polish crowd. Another point, are the Polish riders finding the UK track difficult?

It's a six hour drive and then the cost of a hotel. Went to Prague instead for one night and spent less than it would cost to go to Manchester plus had a lovely city to spend time in at cheap prices.

Bewley is a massive miss for atmosphere wise here. Was 10 times better last year. And even then you an not compare the atmosphere to Poland over here. They are biblical. We can only dream of that. To many programme wavers in wulfspurt jackets

Might be a good idea to give Glasgow a GP. I think the people there would bend over backwards to put on a memorable show

Prague in general is cheaper than uk. Like I can spend a weekend in Spain cheaper than I can spend a weekend in London.

UK is an expensive place to live. But we're also paid much better than most in Europe

Agree and I am sure if Bewley had been riding the meeting would be at another level. Yes a rider of his calibre can make all the difference and hopefully in 2027 he will be at Belle Vue showing them how it is done. Onwards and upwards and fingers crossed Dan can get back in the saddle soon. He is a future world champion and his time will come.
