Timo Lahti would be another semi decent shout but same as above minimal chance of coming over.

InTheDeepStuff
Cook will end up there, one of if only to get the full house of Premiership clubs ridden for! If he does and rides to his ability he’s a good signing on circa 5.4 average, but there’s always the risk of his going missing for periods of the season as has been seen before.

He can’t keep using the sport as a part time venture in the season it runs. He’s got plenty of time in the closed season to do what he needs to do

He’s not a rider I’ve ever taken too and from the off season shenanigans everyone’s heard he ‘allegedly’ partakes in he can’t bring that into an already dangerous sport

So got to wait until everyone’s finished abroad to fill in at the end of season. GB speedway reminds me of a patchwork quilt.

Why so cloak and dagger? What could possibly be worse than the CEO and team manager of another team being the sole shareholder of another club? Why so cloak and dagger? What could possibly be worse than the CEO and team manager of another team being the sole shareholder of another club? Being a Director doesn't necessarily mean that person is a shareholder. When i looked at Companies House info a few weeks ago, Lemon was the only named director. But does the CH info disclose shareholders? Not to my knowledge, but you could have access to greater depth info?? I tend to think that shareholder identities are usually hidden information, a private matter unless disclosed by the shareholder publicly? Why so cloak and dagger? What could possibly be worse than the CEO and team manager of another team being the sole shareholder of another club? I was a Director at Birmingham for a brief period as part of the new consortium which took over for the 2022 season, and my involvement was mainly centred around helping ensure they were in a position to run that year, because there was a huge amount of work to be done that winter for them to get to that stage. My resignation was due to a significant change in work circumstances in April 2022 which, in my view, meant there could have been a perceived conflict of interest had I remained directly associated with one club at a Director level, although there was no pressure applied from any direction before I took that decision.
