King’s Lynn Stars vs Northampton Foxes - Monday 20th April

Who will fill in for Iversen in the engine room I wonder, I’m guessing he’s still out 🤷🏻‍♂️ it will be a toss up between Morris, D Thompson, Howarth, Rowe and Flint I assume, with Aces and Witches riding the same night…

Go R/R if they’re smart

That’s defo the way to go, doesn’t give future opposition track time whilst giving some of the home riders more chance to get used to new circuit

I was more thinking that NKI is second in averages so everyone can take a ride and they’re likely to be behind for Tac-sub stage at some point so track specialist Klindt can take 6 rides if they wanted

If anybody runs into a Northamptoningham fan at King's Lynn can you explain to them why they've not been knocked out of the Knock Out Cup if they lose 😁

Happens every season with the KOC.

Even this year it's easy to explain, teams finishing 2nd & 3rd of the group get "knocked out" of the competition!

A bit like the league championship then...

King's Lynn should win this one considering Lidsey's early season form.

If the Stars reserves are ever going to score decent points then it'll come in this meeting imo.

50-40 (Klindt will keep the scoreline somewhat respectable for the Foxes debut in the PREMIERSHIP.

Do they have a full facility for Iversen, with him not having ridden for Northampton yet?

Just like the 'Champions' League in footy,  and look how popular that is

Fricke              Lidsey
Castagna        Batchelor
Harris              Zagar
B Cook            R/R (Iversen)
Kvech              Klindt
Rushen           Thomson
Scott               Harrison

these are the lineups, I’ve been reliably informed 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

And its not exactly a Champions league as 2nd to 5th in the league table qualify for it.

Why they don’t go back to just calling it the European cup I’ll never know. Calling it the Champions League when a club finishing 5th enters it is daft.

That Northampton team is shocking. I read a few weeks back in the Star that they’ll need to keep an eye on performances and if need be, the other promotions may need to help them out. Well they need it already before a wheel is turned because this team is going to struggle winning a meeting at home let alone away!
