FishersGate
Had to laugh at one of the fishers gate crew where I stand encouraging Picko and Kyle to have a pop each other then looking rather pleased with himself when they start scrapping 😂 it can get lively down there for sure 😄 Edited April 24 by FishersGate Spelling

Right in his racing line. 16 hours ago, IainB said: I'm surprised elf and safety hasn't shut this practice down, is there any need for the flag marshal to be stood in the middle of the track? He ain't even wearing a hi-vis vest! Not been to Sheffield for a couple of years, but always felt their flag marshal encroached far too much onto the track, can't imagine the rules would allow it. Seems a very unworthy risk, I imagine insurance premiums would go up if there was an accident. If I'm accused of being a killjoy, I'd reply the fans are there to see the riders not sure an enthusiastic flag marshal would add anything to the gate. Odds On
love it...no one can change my mind that this is good for the sport...no one got injured, certainly puts speedway back out there that its still going on, the two riders will probably ride somewhere together in the same team at some point, the clip will be used over and over again...what is not to love about it? Erm...there fact that there are kids at these meetings that see riders as role models? Hardly setting a great example. Throw the book at both of them instead of trying to glorify this sickening behaviour 2 8

Absolutely nothing wrong with it as long as it doesn't get out of hand. Nobody got hurt and a couple of competitive riders let off a bit of steam. Interesting that the the official social media pages have started posting scraps between riders...perhaps the penny has dropped

Did not want to believe that Oxford, Buxton and Northampton would materialise. Has not had a good word to say about the sport in general. Hardly what I would call a Speedway fan, more like a Clarke Osbourne sycophant.

Best stop kids going to football & rugby matches just in case the wee things get exposed to some occasional pushing/thumping/brawling between professional sportsman who give a dam. As the saying goes “show me a good looser and I’ll show you a loser”.
