With news breaking just before the meeting that the venue had passed the SCB Inspection the atmosphere was really positive. Paul said; Tickets can be purchased on-line or on entry to the track by card or cash. Large free car park. OK to take camping chairs etc. Sensible entry checks. SCB STATEMENT: NIELS-KRISTIAN IVERSEN Thursday April 30, 2026 The Speedway Control Bureau were made aware on Tuesday 28th April that due to injuries sustained at the Nicolai Klindt Testimonial on the 15th March, Niels Kristian Iversen would be unable to travel to the UK for the Northampton Fixture on Thursday 30th April, as was still awaiting medical clearance to be able to fly. Mr Iversen competed for the Esbjerg club in the Danish League on Wednesday 29th April, therefore Northampton have been denied a Full Facility for the fixture on the 30th April, and have been informed that only the Reduced Facility as per SCB Regulation 011.4 would be permitted. Iversen should have just done a Paco* & said he activated his injury - Northampton get a (full) guest. G = Guest MA = Match Average (Popularly known as Green Sheet average, because they used to be printed on green paper. Also known as the Rolling Average, because it's based on the last 20 League matches (home or away)). SCB Regulations are downloadable here: https://www.scbgb.co.uk/download.php?view.12915 There are a lot of pages, but you'll find Regulations 10, 11, and 12 cover most of the team building and racing Regulations. 13 is for Development (used to be called Junior) Racing, 14 for Individual meetings, and 15 for other events. SCB Reg 010.2.3 says: "d) any rider who has been or is eligible to compete in the NDL and NDT, holds a British passport and has not represented another FMN, other than the ACU will receive 2.5% reduction on their Premiership/Championship MA for Team Building" So ... if Howarth's 5.00 is only for team building ... his actual Green Sheet of 5.13 would be too high, because the 25% reduction of Iversen's average gives 5.03 ...
