TheWellBehavedWorrall
Well done, Monarchs. A thoroughly deserved win. Solid throughout (barring Cluff), but Thomsen was unbelievable. Big changes needed if we’re to compete this season. Their heat wins were needed, but we can’t afford for Hausl and Hodder to only compete in 25% of their races. I’d be tempted to replace Hausl and Hagon, given Hodder is at number seven, building confidence in the NDL and in fact, has delivered at least his average in each meeting. We can accommodate time for a number seven, but not the other two. A bit lost for words with Hagon. Reigning British U21 champion riding at reserve and as far as I’m aware, he’s lowering his average. Dreadful this afternoon. Who do we replace them with? Your guess is as good as mine. It’s someone at the club’s responsibility to make the phone calls and have the conversations that build sides capable of challenging, so it’s over to them. Colsimmo58
What an absolute shambles by the Tigers, Not one rider managed to gate on our Home Track, sorry to say HAUSL must go, He is not up to speed in this Division,What excuses is Cami ''Useless'' Brown coming out with this time. Out of the BSN Series and KO Cup before the League starts.
TheWellBehavedWorrall
I’d love to know what conversations take place between management, riders and mechanics after yet more mechanical issues costing points. Absolutely no excuse; you’re beaten in the pits before the track if you’re unprepared, but it’s a massive issue. Juhl Pedersen has now had issues in every home meeting, Harris has issues in the last two, Flint this afternoon, etc. It needs addressed. It’s become a nightmare. We’re talking about a basic, non-complex motorbike.
YeOldPitGate
With how Thomsen has stepped it up this year Edinburgh are just a Rushden or Scott away at reserve from having a really good side even allowing for Sedgeman being the Aussie version of Klindt.

Also thanks to Leon and Sam for their efforts last night in knocking their own team out the cup. 😂 Workington have 5 points so even if they had scored 0 points each, Glasgow would be out with 4 points. kerry
Well done to the Monarchs, by far the superior team in both legs! Dan T showing Glasgow management why he should have been the 8+ pointer retained. Hausl is terrible. I do wonder if he was picked based on that one good meeting/u21 SON. He wouldn't have been in the points let alone win in H10 if it hadn't have been for Bomber nursing him through - slowing and fending off Castagna. Hagon's inconsistently is beyond frustrating. This is the same lad that scored 10+1 against the same team last night! Honestly, I've never understood Hodder's retention. If it was from last year's reserves, Perry would have had my vote. Perry never gave up, sometimes to his detriment with more tumbles, but certainly more fire than Hodder. Bomber doesn't seem to have got going yet. Howarth seems to resort to driving dirty & Pederson only seems to look good coz the others are so shocking! Will we see changes in the coming week? Or will heads be in the same - leave it too late - and make changes when the leagues already far too gone?!
Nickinho
A great advert for speedway and a superb result for the Monarchs made even more incredible by the fact that this is their third meeting in three days and inbetween times Dan has flown out to Poland and back and Paco was probably still feeling the effects of that foot injury sustained a couple of weeks ago. The Tigers looked like they were the visitors to Ashfield today and I don't know where they go from here.

Noelinho
None of our team were up to scratch today, totally deserved to finish bottom of the group. Hodder is tentative, Sam isn't gating, Mario doesn't seem to have a good setup most of the meeting. I don't know which of those problems you fix first. Big loss at home even though the ref was quite happy for Leon to take out an away rider in heat 5. Without that, Edinburgh would've hit 50.

He's a five point rider who has yet to attain more than five points in a single meeting.

To be fair the Engines are probably not the best of quality and tuners take them beyond their limits with their so called “fine tuning”

Not really done much overall.

His 1st heat ,heat 3 Sedgeman clipped KJP's handle bar with his elbow hence the awkward line into the 1st bend.
SteveLyric2
I guess the result doesn't really matter to the home fans as long as they were entertained. Well done Edinburgh, joining Redcar, Poole and Berwick in the semis.

In that case what's the point of experienced pit crews if it's so easy? Why don't you show them how it's done
