Glasgow v Edinburgh, BSN, Sunday 3 May 3pm

Recommended Posts

Basically double what it was last week, which is mental. Or was that only because last week was a trail run.

Anyway probably a fairly comfortable home win as our reserves will make their no very good reserves look like Dan Bewley and Robert Lambert.

When it’s half price I will watch again.

It’s £1 more than the Monarchs charge, and the same price Berwick and Poole charge.

Yes, last week was a trial, and that’s why it was cheaper. This is the normal price.

I thought Loftus had something about him when I saw him last season but hasn’t kicked on by the looks of it  , could still come good though.

Biggest issue is he can’t gate, no good being as quick as the rest when you’re 10 yards behind going into the first bend.

Big meeting this, should be a close one. This is the Monarchs 3rd meeting in 3 days and Kye must be knackered. Looking forward to some good racing and i agree with most fans on here in that the result will depend a lot on the reserves.

Cluff expressed a liking for the Glasgow track last season he might bang in a decent score

On recent form, the only thing he’s in danger of banging in is the air fence.

I also hoped to see more from Loftus this season. I would have been delighted if he’d signed for Glasgow (though not a fan of poaching), but so far he’s not lived up to what I hoped. Both teams need more from their reserves.

The weather is looking very grey, but hopefully any wet stuff falls somewhere manky like Maryhill.

I will happily pay full price if they get a camera stabiliser (camera work was forgivable) but a commentator who has next to no clue what’s going on not so. The racing at Glasgow is brilliant but I can’t listen to the guy who doesn’t know the names of the home riders ( when did Kevin Peter sign?) or even the team name of the opponents Plymouth Devils. But absolutely the worst part is when he talks over the other guy, who really seems to know how to do the job.

Three home meetings, three races where Juhl Pedersen has come last due to mechanical issues.

What on earth is going on with speedway these days? More retirements than wheelies.

Speedway bikes are remarkably simple from a mechanical perspective, so are so many riders unable to complete a sixty seconds race?

They’re simple but very fickle

Bin time for Mr Hausl.

Thanks and all the best, but your lack of input is a serious detriment to our play-off and title aspirations.

A large outlay will no doubt have been absorbed by the Facenna’s for his services, but he’s God awful. One day, he might be decent, but for Glasgow, he’s a man down.

Worse than a mentally withdrawn Boughen and worse than Ivacic.
