eide67
Friday 15th May: Edinburgh Monarchs v Oxford Cheetahs (Championship, Armadale, 7:30pm) ROSS ECO TECHNOLOGIES MONARCHS: Drew Kemp (Guest), Jonatan Grahn, Justin Sedgmen, Paco Castagna (capt.), Kye Thomson, Mitch Cluff, Jordy Loftus. S D TIMMO CAR SALES CHEETAHS: Sam Masters, rider replacement for Erik Riss, Alfie Bowtell (Guest), Luke Killeen, Anders Rowe, Darryl Ritchings, Dayle Wood. Drew Kemp in for Dan for Monarchs. Alfie Bowtell in for McDiarmid (no idea why he's not riding) and R/R for Erik. It will be great to see Sam back at the Dale and he will get a lot of points but it looks to me like it should be a comfortable win for the home men. Hope Paco is getting over the effects of his big off the other week, he's not quite looked himself since his return. Not sure if Luke Killeen will be fit to ride following being withdrawn from Wednesday night's match after a big crash.

Not sure he should be riding in the Championship if other leagues have priority over him on nights when Championship teams race.

cyclone
Wood & Ritchings on previous displays here this season, would expect to heavily outscore the home reserves, so result might be closer than some expect. Just read Vale now replaces Ritchings so this favours a home win instead Edited May 14 by cyclone updated info.

Mr Blobby
Between Sam, Rowe and Dayle I’m sure Oxford will keep it respectable. They 3 should hit around 30 between them.

It's possible to believe Oxford have a poor lineup without there being better options. If the poster had said "why pick these riders" or "there must have been better guests available" then you'd be right to question the post!
szkocjasid
Should be a decent win for the Monarchs. Does anyone know if Riss is 2nd or 3rd in Oxford's averages? Has the same ave as Rowe, but it's the difference between Masters getting a r/r ride or not! Edited May 14 by szkocjasid

There would be other riders having to miss out the Champ if that was the case, no Dan Thompson, no Zach Cook etc. Guess the league would have to be a lot weaker if they stopped using riders who race in Poland. Kinda surprised Rowe is riding. He was struggling on his bike the race after the crash on Weds.

Dan Theman
It seems Oxfords season is over before it has started out of both cups and looking like two defeats in the league to start of with. The team apart from Sam Masters are very inconsistent
foreverblue
Not a great line up for Oxford, seem to be relying on Dayle Wood to have a good one, for Edinburgh Kye is flying so should be a very easy home win. Injuries happen and you sometimes get lucky with who you can bring in and sometimes you dont, the guests for Oxford are clearly poor replacements.
