I’m sure you aren’t Diane Abbott and your maths is pretty good so if Bowes scored 1 tonight and Dan T 12 that’s a total of 13 which is a 10 point swing based on tonight’s scores… it’s all ifs and buts and maybes but clearly if both sides has their 1-7 Poole would possibly have had a heavier defeat 

So Bowes may have got 2 last night which would not have been much different to Tate but we would have expected more from Zischke given he got 9 last time. Harris got 13 the last time he was at Edinburgh and Dan T got 11, so he outscored Dan T on his own track, maybe last night the track didn't suit Harris, no idea why he gets 13 one month and 6 the next.

Came down to Rushen struggling with the tighter turns of Armadale where he can’t just twist the throttle and Mitch Cluff putting in a superb performance last night. He’s improved massively round the dale to the guy who couldn’t turn round the place first few weeks, fair play to him.

Was waiting for somebody to come out with that, little surprise it was you. He's got round Ipswich, Plymouth, Leicester perfectly well and scored good points by not just 'twisting the throttle' - he's 16 and is entitled to some tricky meetings on trickier tracks as part of his development.

Might be a good result for Poole in this competition but even a 10 point score for Thompson would have been 51-39 …. Bowes never scores at Edinburgh… 

Edinburgh would be strong contenders to beat Poole over 2 legs of Thompson and Bowes both rode

Not hard to see why Edinburgh will be happy moving forward 

The best result Edinburgh would get vs Poole would be a win by 8/10. 
 

And then at Poole, I’d be surprised if Edinburgh got to 38

With the exception of the meetings they'd previously lost, both teams entered this one unbeaten. Therefore, it was always going to be a tight affair. Good to pick up the win in the end.

Watching heat 1, I thought to myself, "Richard Lawson doesn't run too many last places." Just then, he snuck inside Chris Harris to claim the 3rd place. With that in mind, come heat 15, I thought, "Richard Lawson doesn't run... no, I can't finish that sentence". A few seconds later, the clinching 5-1 was confirmed.

There was mention on here earlier that Kyle Newman doesn't like sunny Armadale. All I can say is he's got a funny way of showing it. Quite honestly, he must be one of the most enjoyable and stylish visitors to watch. For a number of years, I would've happily welcomed him in a Monarchs team. Granted, it's highly unlikely to ever happen, given he lives down yonder but, hey, I can only but wish.

Good to see William Cairns given his full name on the big screen (black mark for the programme though, which failed miserably throughout). Hopefully one day the impressive Mitchell Cluff's name will appear in full. I'm not buying into this Mitch nonsense.

Roll on the second leg and another Monarchs victory...

I said that. It was from an interview when he last rode for Poole before this season so 2023? It was on when it was called piratecast rather than 15 heats later podcast thingy. 

If you wanna win at Poole tell Mitch to stay at home with his virus and get a guest in. No good in asking Masters for advice either as he struggled the other week for Oxford. Prob cos the track was super bumpy that week but...🤷‍♀️
