Promote your club\event, introduce your changes and then sing it from the hilltops 📢 what specially has he said then? Cos from my perspective he's not really gone overboard with any hyperbole etc.

He knows the sport is a sh*tshow in the UK, but has been very diplomatic in his views on it... Whilst still making it clear what he really feels of how the sport is ran... He comes across as someone well versed in using political diplomacy to achieve his aims... Nice to see someone in the sport of this level..

When you miss the start you're not going to overhaul a Belle Vue rider, as King and Musielak found out. You have to give credit to Belle Vue, their riders are so good around there I don't see them being beaten, it's their away performances that will be key to winning the title this season, which I think they will. It's a game of two halves so let's see what happens Thursday but I still think King and Nicholls should swap riding positions. Not harsh at all sorry. Were you expecting more from those three? Fair play if you were, I wasn’t. Nicholls and Bangs were appalling there earlier in the season, which is a far better guide than anything they done there “years ago”. I know you have a soft spot for Nicholls, but it’s time to accept that the pace needed on the bigger tracks has long gone for him. Aries
Coleman has actually said very little! The most vocal he’s been has been his public support for the riders over the insurance fiasco, and good on him for that.
TTT
2 hours ago, Aries said: You’re very unlikely to get a single point from Nicholls there. It’s one thing scoring double figures on a piddly little track like Plymouth in the Championship, it’s another entirely when you visit a track where you need pace in the top flight. IF we visit the NSS again this year in the play offs, he won’t score a point then either. You’re also going to get next to nothing from Nicholls, Lawson and Bangs combined there. The result is a thumping as expected. Take your point though, the scale of the defeat was probably a bit more than hoped. It was never going to be anything else. The likes of TTT suddenly have it in for the new owners, which I don’t understand personally. They came in at the end of February so this season was always going to be a write off. If you’re ever going to have a “write off” Season, then this abomination of a season is the perfect time to have it! By all accounts speaking to those that have had dealings with him (Arch on here for one) Coleman strikes an impressive figure and has big plans ahead for the club. People need to get off his back and stop the cry arsing a few months in to his reign. It’s a bit embarrassing to be honest. I'm just very concerned with what I've seen so far. I gave Mayfield the benefit of the doubt pre-season because what they were saying was true, However I just can't understand how they've failed to act when it comes to Jonas Jeppesen and Jason Doyle. They've had two opportunites to show ambition and they've failed to act which makes me question Mayfield's vision for the club. Is this just a rescue job to save the PREMIERSHIP from total collapse to a point where Ipswich as a Club have to suffer the consequences of that in regards to budget 1-7's who just compete for the sake of competing? So far, For all of Mayfield's talk, All I've seen from them is watching Tom Brennan's confidence get shattered to pieces whilst serving up a Hellstrom-Bangs / Ed Kennett fiasco where they stated that Hellstrom-Bangs would be sacked if Kennett done a half decent job only to sack Kennett before a wheel was turned due to commitment issues. I've done this song and dance before where I bought into talk rather than actions (Michael Tomalin) and so far Mayfield remind me of him where they said all of the right things but eventually nothing came of it. Coleman admitted it was backs to the wall putting a team together and asked supporters to “stick with us” through this year and judge them in ‘27. You agreed with that at the start of the season but have given up that thinking after three and a half months! Doyle made himself unavailable, it was only after Mark Lemon was asking all the GP riders if they could do a stint here to replace Bewley last week that they found out Doyle would be open to it. As for Jeppesen, I wouldn’t have had him over Bangs before a wheel was turned. I was quite excited at the Bangs signing and thought it was a coup! We know things haven’t worked out so far and he’s been a massive disappointment. I’ve called for a change there myself on another thread, as much for the fella’s benefit as much as ours. He doesn’t look in a good place at the moment and something is not right there because he’s blatantly a far better rider than he’s showed. BUT, Coleman seems to have the riders’ backs and seems to want to support them as much as possible we know that from the insurance issue. Maybe his preferred strategy is to help and support the riders who are struggling and try and get them through a sticky patch rather than bin them off after a few months of the season? I find that difficult to criticise to be honest. Ultimately his hand may be forced if the natives become restless and it starts affecting the attendance but we’ll have to wait and see. We also have to remember, that we were told at the meet the riders event that it was Andrew Chisholm who would be in charge of the day to day running of the club and in charge of all team matters, along with input from Paul Hurry. Coleman is a busy man and to his credit, has turned up at Foxhall far more than I expected. I’ve seen him in all but one meeting so far. I just think it’s all a bit nuts to start judging and criticising them after three and half months especially when we have a cup final next month. We could quite easily walk away from this “write off” season with a piece of silverware! The Leicester track should be far more to our liking than the NSS that’s for certain.

They won't be the only riders to be defeated at the NSS (and I'm including all of the Ipswich team here) because when behind from the off, it's very difficult to make up speed there on a home rider, which we saw with all of the Ipswich and Leicester team. On Nicholls specifically, his starting ability has never been a strong point but in the Championship, where he's outscoring King I think, overtaking is more of a possibility for him. However, riding at No.4 is stretching and as the weakest rider above the reserves, he should be at No.2. Oh, and those 14 points from "years ago", were probably only about 5 meetings ago for him 😉
