Bandit59
Well after a dodgy start we preserved our home record but nowhere near getting the bonus point,Nick and Peter doing the business when it mattered,on a side note no power on back straight tea bar and toilets closed I was informed reliability that was the doing of the football club not a good sign, reminds of there's a rumour going round a fuse is going to blow,10 cc rubber bullets

Wasn't there tonight but was at football last week. Was rumours doing the rounds that the floodlights were being fed from that area as a couple of floodlights failed. Possibly a temporary measure until the lights problem is fixed? Edited July 25 by Gambo95 Info altered

Shadders
Bandits made hard work of that. Not a good omen for the KOC final. Good to see the Bandits top two in the points as well as Reid Battye after his struggles at Oxford on Friday. Jordan Jenkins clearly not 100% fit and missed the post meeting victory parade, being treated in the medical room. Track looked dry and the dust was flying. Had a good watering after a few heats, and it made some difference. Plymouth on the whole were quicker from the gate, but they are used to a dry, dusty track, so no surprise. What did surprise me was Plymouth not putting Barker in heat 15 instead of Nicholls Good to see so many Plymouth supporters in attendance and they were certainly in good spirits in the Black & Gold after the meeting. A decent speedway meeting with some good races sprinkled amongst the gate and go's. Highlight was Kildermand v Nicholls in heat 6. I and many others sat next to the start/finish line were convinced PK had got the win, but the transponder said different. Fromafar
VP is having a poor season. Though he would be better away from home but just struggling all round in UK.We won’t win anything IMO

They have done really well to reach one final and one semi final and good at home so far but personally feel there has been no momentum build up due to various reason postponements and injuries etc. Would it be worth swapping Jye and Jordan to try and strengthen middle order. At the moment biggest issue is with VP as you say, for whatever reason. Far as I can see there is about 0.9 points to play with if any changes were to be made to help increase chances of winning something but don't suppose there is anyone available especially for a Saturday night track. On a more positive note some of the racing has been really good this year though and crowds look to have held up well considering all the blank days and postponements.

Like you say some good meetings and crowds look decent.👍
allthegearbutnaeidea
Agree with the above, Palovaara to go if there’s someone out there, but on that average it’s a hard task. Thought racing was good on Saturday with some lines we don’t often see getting used, and a decent crowd considering last weeks postponement. Sounds a good season, better than Berwick have had for a while. But finishing 5th (if they do) will always feel like a disappointment, when everyone is looking for top 4.
