Fancy Poole to win this one, strengthened with a guest for Bowes.

With both teams using r/r reserves will be vital.

With Killeen being 4th in the averages, at least one of the r/r heats will include both reserves, I wonder if they'll "sacrifice" heat 13 by giving a reserve an outing in that heat?

Hard to call, were it with Cairns/MacDiarmid I'd go for Poole, what with Cairns becoming a consistent performer for the Pirates, but with rr results will be more down to who actually gets dialed in on the night. Cheetahs may have been pants this year but all their league success has come at home where they have only been beaten once ......let's make it twice!

Who made Kyle Newman captain?

It's from the team submitted by the Poole management to Oxford for tonight. It does seem odd, since Zach Cook is still riding. We'll see who is captain on the night.

Hmm. Poole website has Zach as captain though, so maybe Oxford misheard or misread?

Hi Lisa, it's not misread, I could show you the Whatsapp with a (C) by Kyle's name and nothing next to Zach. It makes no difference really, but it will be interesting to see who is the Poole captain tonight.

Maybe confusing the Oxford meeting with the Plymouth meeting tomorrow?!

Update: Although from comments on the stream the meeting programme had a few errors!!

We attended the meeting tonight. In Edward's first race, he pulled up on the 3rd lap and coasted around to the finish. We assumed it was a mechanical issue until they announced that he was being attended to by the medics. He was then withdrawn citing a "wrist injury".

Harrison for Cook (75% facility)and Wood for Bowes guest at Plymouth.

From the coverage on the stream after heat 1 Eddie looked quite rough!!
