As proved in 2018, we had a clean sweep, and the crowd levels still didn’t improve. People generally go because they like speedway and it’s a family friendly afternoon out, the number of kids attending has drastically improved from the Derwent park days Like arguing with a brick wall mate, wouldn’t bother 1

I understand your point of view but it is more pleasurable if you win isn't it.

Actually went to scunny on Friday with the Comets, brilliant meeting great recing comets got beat, but they put the effort in and a very enjoyable meeting. Watched the Plymouth meeting on BSN, comets riders put in the effort couldn't gate all the time, so we got beat, but another enjoyable meeting. Where it appears Poole fans want to win at all costs, then moan when they don't win 😜 Edited 15 hours ago by Neila
lewy
A 44-46 defeat would be far more exciting than a 60-30 win imo.

I agree a good close meeting can be enjoyable if we lose but I would say more enjoyable when we win. Also I would say some 60-30 meetings can be enjoyable too.

In the best meeting I saw last season, we lost the league title in a race-off. That puts things into perspective. The Ford’s build incredibly strong sides filled with very capable riders. What frustrates me is they prepare their track in a way that suppresses those capabilities at the expense of guaranteeing victory. You have a great team. They will win regardless. Give them a platform to entertain.

Be careful what you say the pilots fans won't like it, anyway if they are entertained too much it won't be good for their health at their age a bit of excitement may not be good for them 😜😄

If the championship is weaker in 2027 and they get Beau Bailey, in my opinion the lad is the best natural racer since Darcy Ward give him a platform to show all his talent and the gates would hold up well or increase most likely.
