Team building plans for 2027 whatever the league format, whatever the team limit, whatever his average should be:

Tobi Musielak + 6 other.

Absolutely class again tonight and just great entertainment.

I’d say it’s almost impossible to leave out King as well. The head says it’s not sensible after a fantastic season if you want to build a title winning team, his average is once again at the awkward stage. But the heart says he deserves his place if he wants it which I’m sure he will.

Musielak has been great, but King is rider of the year for me. Much maligned by a section of the fan base, but he’s piped them right down this year.

Woryna

Musielak

King

+4

Would have loved to have seen Woryna on that track last night by the way, that would have been, interesting!

Edit: I’d fit Ellis back in as well for his Foxhall scoring alone. Great interview from him last night where he spoke of Ipswich being his “Speedway home” in the UK and he loves coming back here every time.

He’s a fantastic character as well and great for team spirit in the pits.

Woryna

Musielak

King

Ellis

+3

We’re getting there 😁

I hope to see him back, King has been fantastic this season but he's got no chance of maintaining his GSA next season in what will be a tougher League due to the Swedish situation.

I'd try and get this if it's possible (No idea on Team Building Limit so it's just a rough idea of a Top 5)

1. J. Doyle

2. A. Ellis

3. T. Musielak

4. T. Brennan

5. K. Woryna

If Ellis  regards Ipswich as his speedway home why did he jump ship this year.   Its more than likely its his speedway home when he's looking for a place next year.

Think everyone just got fed up in the end last winter as it was just dragging on for too long.

He’s already explained this and it’s exactly the same reason why Doyle eventually gave up waiting also! He/They simply couldn’t wait any longer so planned their season elsewhere.

Mayfield didn’t buy Ipswich officially until end of February and they couldn’t offer contracts to riders until the ink was dry on a contract themselves.

I think Ellis is at Northampton next year, pretty sure he signed a deal for 2027 when he joined for the last few matches this season

Have a hunch (that’s all it is) that Doyle will be there also.

I wouldn't be surprised tbh, Doyley would want a local Club that's not named King's Lynn when it comes to British Speedway imo.

What do you reckon for Ippo then? I was guessing Doyle + Woryna at 1 &5. Woryna and another? Musielak at 5 still? Or 2 above him? Heard anything?

Have to be a bit careful and respectful as I was in a very privileged position a few weeks back thanks to someone on here so all I’ll say is Doyle is “desperate to come back next year”, but the angle I took was that he’s plan B if others moves don’t come to fruition. He’s not the type to sit around waiting for a place as we know.

There’s no shortage of ambition I can tell you that, so we’ll have to wait and see what is delivered.

Domino effect potentially on the cards due to the Wroclaw agreement as well as the Swedish tyre fiasco.

Bewley -> Ipswich

Fricke -> Belle Vue

Lambert -> King's Lynn

I’d be VERY surprised if Bewley ended up at Ipswich next year. Things could change of course, but as it stands that one is highly unlikely.

Didn’t Coleman himself say Wroclaw would have an influence and would have an input on the Ipswich team building next year? The Wroclaw fella is also now a director at Ipswich. He also said about multi contracts across the two clubs so you’d think there’s almost certain to be at least one rider who rides for both clubs. Someone like Mikkel Andersen maybe?

Mayfield could do worse than try & bring Emil back.

Failing that Musielak & Brennan from this year plus a return for Rew & 4 new Mayfield signings.

Woryna seems to be the name in the frame so him plus one youngster with Wroclaw connections leaves 2 reserves to find.

In the past I have given King some stick especially in 2024 however this year he has been fantastic. I do think his average will rule him out of Ipswichs plans next year.

That’s exactly what he said on the stream during the interval to be fair. It’s clear it was Ipswich he was waiting patiently for last winter.

Doesn’t matter how much a rider wants to ride for someone at the end of the day. There’s more than one component before a deal is struck. The club has to actually offer you something.
