I’m told pretty much every club has talked with him and he hasn’t ruled out a return if he gets the right deal. I know some Ipswich fans wouldn’t like it but I personally couldn’t care less. I’ve never been hung up about ex riders riding elsewhere. Would love to see him back over and it would make the Derbies more interesting. Same here, With the current League format and setup we need every Club being competitive as it's not good if we've got a couple of sides way below par considering we're running the same fixtures 4-6 times a season by the time you include the Cup.

Most don't care about ex riders as a whole, but when said rider is one of your own i.e. local, developed through the youth system and looks like a promising talent, one is now a current World Champion, it's the only thing King's Lynn and it's fans can hang their hat on. The 2027 septet absolutely must have Lambert, Rushen and Scott in it. It's imperative
ouch
Daft as it will sound to the inward thinking majority who run this sport but we should all be working together to ensure Robert lines up at Kings Lynn. If done correctly the PR the sport in the UK could get from his presence as World Champion at his home town club could be priceless. Couple this with the blossoming career of Cooper and it’s a UK PR dream. I just cannot see the shortsighted self interested brigade backing this in any way.
Aries
Fairly sure Pickering will be your number 1. Only option left for him and I just can’t see him doing Championship and giving the Premiership a miss.

If thats the case and we have Jody and Cooper at reserve (also a big 'if' I'd suggest) then we need an ultra solid and room-for-improvement 2-5 to be competitive. As for Lambert not sure that changes too much, Kurtz only did one Danish meeting last year for example. TTT
Almost curtains for King's Lynn now due to the 3 League rule when it comes to Lambert assuming he signs for a Swedish Club again. InTheDeepStuff is always on the money so you can count Harris and Rowe as 100% nailed on. Pickering can only end up at King's Lynn so that's 3 of the Top 5 and then you're down to the usual Buster Chapman riders like Kvech, Lawson, Klindt who haven't been linked to any Club via ITK info. therefused
Fricke is a must on a 8.24 average, im not convinced hes going to Leicester. If we did plump for Pickering and Rowe then the below would leave just over 3 for a number 6, what average does Edwards have after leaving the RS scheme? Fricke 8.24 Rowe 6.07 Harris 6.38 Rushen 4.74 Pickering 8.16 Scott R/S But i cant say im convinced Rowe or Pickering are likely signings. Bagpuss
I'd be amazed if Buster forks out for Fricke & Pickering.

He would get 25% reduction from his current 4.00 average, so 3.00 1. Max Fricke - 8.24 2. Anders Rowe - 5.92 (2.5% reduction) 3. Chris Harris - 6.38 4. Cooper Rushen - 4.74 (U21) 5. Josh Pickering - 8.16 6. Jason Edwards / Joe Thompson - 3.00 / 3.53 7. Jody Scott - (RS U21) Total - 36.44 / 36.
TJ45CSW
Don’t think Lambert will be in Sweden with the new tyre rule this year, Door could still be open for the UK
PhilTheAce
Lambert got no interest in uk what so ever, so can ignore that thought sadly

Lambert is going to be a dad soon so, very understandably, won't be wanting to be doing too much travelling, over and above the already "loads" that riders do.. Edit. I still personally think that the Thursday meetings, which make up the majority of UK tier one meetings, won't be a great "pull" for the top riders who don't live over here... Daniel Smith
I guess we've got to wait and see what other teams look like but it's sounding like more of the same from King's Lynn management in collecting the rest of the leagues dregs. It's like zero effort is made, no 'out of the box' thinking. Surely, surely not, King's Lynn just doing the same. King's Lynn & Northampton already booked for 5th & 6th is bad for the league. blue witch
Don't think it matters what day KL ride Lambert isn't interested in the UK at all just like Woffy when he was at the top of his game. Shows how they look at the sport here
TTT
If I was a King's Lynn fan, I'd be happy with Picko. I wouldn't write him off as a No.1, Josh really does believe in himself and he's not a rider who'd be fazed by having the No.1 on his back, If anything he'd relish it.
TJ45CSW
1. Josh Pickering - 8.16 2. Assessed / Batch/ Jeppesen - 5.00 3. Chris Harris - 6.38 4. Anders Rowe - 5.92 5. Jan Kvech - 6.76 6. Cooper Rushen - 4.74 7. Jody Scott (RS) Like the look of this team for lynn
