Ipswich May not be the only British team with a formal association to a Polish Club Extraliga team  in 2027

Clubs appear to be keen to get some of their younger riders over to ride in the UK as well which would be a good thing

The swedish speedway league have made a deal with tyre company Mitas that means all riders in the 3 leagues over there have to use those tyres. 

Some big names including Zmarzlik and Lambert are not happy. They prefer Anlas who also provide tyres for the GP and UK. 

Potentially could mean riders will leave the Swedish league for UK or Denmark.

That would be good. I’ve said for years we have to work with Poland & not against them. They have by far & away the most successful, professional league set up in the world.

Seems to be some really good potential there at Northampton. Considering how poor the team have been due to circumstances out of their control, the crowd levels by all accounts have held up well so thats promising going forward. 
 

Interesting to see what team they can put together with proper planning just like us at Ipswich. League should be much more competitive next year.

Agreed that was the big risk would anyone go after novelty wore off, thankfully it seems a good core supporters base is there, the track if they can get more time on it seems potentially able to provide good racing and stadium seems decent by speedway standards. I just seem to remember Flagrag mentioning a possible Polish connection last year but as I say given he seems very close to media side of things totally get it if he's not in a position to share any inside knowledge he may have.

They have to be looked on as a success this year, they were left with the scraps this season if they can get Iverson, Thomson, Harrison, Lidsey (possibly) back they could have a good core add to that in the ideal world Anders Thompson, Zach Cook and Becker they would win most home meetings. They just need a team of triers as they have been saddled with 3-4 riders this year who only fancy it 50% of the time you can carry 1-2 like that but not 4.

I wouldn't rule out Doyley being the Foxes No.1 tbh in a team that also features Ellis, Iversen and Lawson.

Would be an excellent start if it did happen, ideally they need to keep Kye Thomson also but get him back down to reserve , Becker and Zach Cook assuming points limit fitted and would be a decent side.

I knew he had done well but didn't realise he had done quite that well, fair play given the restrictions in the UK from a financial and riders actually wanting to ride here point of view its most likely a pipe dream.

Best way to get Kye at reserve would be to find a superstar 4 pointer, who goes up into the team

Expecting a big increase when it comes to team building limits tbh.

Even lower end riders are on 5+ GSA's now.
