Poole Co-Promoter Danny Ford calling for a professional performance from the Pirates, so I guess the initial target will be 34 points by heat 10.

Lets hope it's not off tonight otherwise there will be a fixtures log jam with BSN covering a meeting each night next week.

So no dust or slick track but a wet, heavy track leading to crashes and processional riding. Match abandoned at 33-39. Monarchs unbeaten home record goes up in smoke too.

Pirates in final. We were there, weather did not put us off. Kyle Newman. Outstanding. Poole just better on  night, wet or dry. Hope Slater is OK after nasty crash.

Hope Lightcap didn't suffer with concussion, if it's a matter of bangs and bruises I confident we'll see him at Redcar, he's a fighter as we have all seen.

Concussion would put him out of BSN final next week. Can't remember how many days out it is for young riders.
