I'm sure someone like Charlie Southwick or Ollie Binns or Harry Fletcher would pick up the odd point here or there. Just an alternative, and I do like teams with a strong reserve. 11 hours ago, Diamonds85 said: Alternatively if you wanted a strong reserve all season you could tempt both Thompson twins in and go for: 1 Chris Harris © 7.93 2 Victor Palovaara 5.64 3 Joe Thompson 5.92 4 Mitchell McDiarmid 5.53 5 Dan Thompson 7.55 6 Jordan Jenkins 5.05 7 2.38 Would mean having an unproven 2.00er at reserve, but you'd have Jordan Jenkins or Joe Thompson at reserve all year too, you saw how successful Berwick were at times this year with a powerful reserve. Fairly solid side with strength in depth but how would Joe Thompson swap into reserve when you have two riders with lower averages?

Nickinho
It's time to be honest and admit that the 2026 Tigers were no longer a force to be reckoned with and looked tired and jaded and were often put to shame by the guests (Drew Kemp excluded...) Exits from all 3 competitions to the Monarchs, the Bears and the Scorpions was a lacklustre effort and a complete overhaul is needed regardless of any loyalty to popular riders. This is a team that I'd love to see line up in 2027; Dan already appears to be back in the Red & White, there's talk of Cairns not being in the Pirates team plans for next season, Anders could probably be tempted and all the stops should be pulled out to sign Jody Scott. Victor is a no-brainer and it would be interesting to see a rider like Alex Adamson given a chance in the Championship like Reid Battye got last season at Berwick. Freddy is the only rider I would bring back from 2026 as there's still the possibility that he doesn't suffer 3 engine failures per meeting and actually kicks on a bit. And for anyone saying "But there's only one heat leader!" take a gander over at Scunthorpe and how they came within one superheat placing to winning the Championship in '26 with only one heat leader. 1 Dan Thompson 7.55 2 Victor Palovaara 5.64 3 Anders Rowe 6.39 4. Jody Scott 6.04 5 William Cairns 6.44 6 Alex Adamson 4.00 7 Freddy Hodder 3.31 49.37 Edited 2 hours ago by Nickinho
