2.51 and 5.64 are the averages for both riders which would come to a total of 39.77

assuming it’s a 40.00  limit then yes it would.

Despite what a lot of Bandits fans have said, I think Palovara has been below par. I would have taken him as a second string rather than third heat leader.

Its probably irrelavent anyway because he hasn't been mentioned yet, so i don't think he'll be back.

Just over 8 points to play with for the final two spots, i'm thinking another young Aussie may be on the radar.

While I agree with that, if Palovaara had been above par, his average would be too high to fill one of the final 2 spots. Because he underperformed, he now seems worth another shot - such is how the points limit works.

He'd actually be a second strong with Etheridge a 3rd heat leader. Could potentially end up a heat leader or reserve, such is the potential make up of the Bandits team.

I agree Victor did have below par season, but Team building is an average game and on his present average would do a job IMO.Whether he returns remains to be seen .Maybe a 5pt newcomer might be worth a gamble.

I'd be less keen to do that, if they picked another Mario Hausl, Anze Grmek or Niklas Jakobsen then the strong reserve plan is gone.

The thought of Jenkins starting at reserve is too good an opportunity to miss imo.

Like I said it’s a gamble you might get another Ben Basso or Villad Nagel though.Name a 5/6 pt Brit who is going too improve though. Victor would be safe bet though.

It all depends how a team is built how much of a gamble it is. For example Workington & Glasgow's foreigners not matching their starting average was costly as it pushed Foord & Hagon into the top 5. But the likes of Bowes struggling at Poole was less harmful as they always had strong reserves, even if Bowes didn't get injured & dropped down, they'd still have Newman.

If the plan was Ace Piper or Dayle Wood with a 4 point foreigner, I wouldn't call that such a gamble, as they'd still have a decent reserve.

I guess I feel they could have a good team without a gamble?

Dayle Wood would be a bit of a gamble as it was announced on Saturday that he's retired from British speedway (or is that just code for he's buggered off early back to Aus'?

His Article in SS says he is back in Aus but didn’t say he was retiring from Britain.Went home early because Oxford finished on Aug 17th.Only NDL with Edinburgh left, said he needed to go home to earn money.

Really like the way Berwick are shaping up for next year if they complete with Palovaara and a 2.00 rider I feel they will be knocking on the door again next season as a Poole fan I felt they were a huge threat over 2 legs and with keeping Jenkins is a massive plus even though Kemp is weaker than Kildemand I feel the other riders can pick up that short fall and will be competing for honours again next season.

I agree if he makes the gate he's quick but if he's behind doesn't pass many.
