ouch Posted yesterday at 11:58 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 11:58 AM Makes sense for Belle Vue to keep Norick and Tate then get some new talent at the bottom of the team. I mean where else are opposing teams supposed to get their heatleaders and number ones from in seasons to come. #wemakeemtheytakeem1928

coldace
Given that we have probably lost Dan, I would have thought that going for Ben Cook who is on a low average might be sensible. He may not be as consistent in Hts 13 and 15 but he would be a reliable heat leader in his other three rides.
ouch
Follow our latest league win we need major surgery to comply with the points limit which seems to be staying at 37 (though that in effect is a further reduction). 42.19-8.62 (Jason) & 5.51 (retired PK) plus 3 (min) leaves only 5.94 for our last rider. You have to bear in mind that we like to remain loyal to our family of riders where we can. It makes consecutive titles difficult but it’s the way we like it.
89buttons
Be awesome if Belle Vue have secured Pawelczak, that’s absolutely the calibre of rider you’d hope the new u21 rules would/could attract over the channel to uk shores. Hope it comes to fruition

He would be a good signing, rides Belle Vue better than King's Lynn.

Backed out of too many tight situations at the AFA last season and its probably a good move for him. Never really reliable on the smaller tracks either.
TTT
I wonder what Belle Vue are up to? No Lidsey, No B. Cook and No Bewley. A big Club like Belle Vue must have an Ace to play if your pardon the pun.

TJ45CSW
What’s the rumoured 1-7 then? I’m going to go for Kurtz, Zischke, Blodorn, Z.Cook plus another in the top 5 maybe pawelczak?

Hope I'm wrong but feel that this is a big gamble and just when on-track success means bigger crowds at BV.

We couldn’t keep Rew after he demanded pay the same as Doyle and Ipswich won’t overpay for a rider Continuity isn’t always possible as Belle Vue have found before with Lidsey and Brennan Shame with what happened at Ipswich at the end of 2025 otherwise Doyle and Ellis would have still been in the side … Dan Thompson was already going to Leicester as he had a sponsorship deal Ipswich couldn’t match Now we have to rebuild after a season of just staying alive so hopefully moving forward Bewley and Cairns if they sign will be part of Ipswich for years to come

Id go for loftus as RS, although personally id scarp it all together till we have a bunch of riders that are ready, throwing these lads in this season will do more damage than good, unless they change the race format and they only face reserves and 2nd strings

If all you are doing is letting them ride against lesser riders it just says it isn't fit for purpose... If the aim is to make the top two tiers clearly different in standard, using the RS scheme in the top tier simply won't allow that to happen..
